Who punches the harder out of the two brothers, then?

It appears to me what you said, Vitali deals more in volume and would wear an opponent down then KO him out. He doesn't appear to put a lot of power in punches, it's as if he paws with his hands - but when you look at someone's face (e.g. Adamek) it's obvious there's something behind those fists.

Wlad jabs (and jabs) with the occasional left hook but seems to have a harder one punch straight right hand. I dunno how you judge it, really. Wlad landed a couple of great right hands on David Haye but they didn't send him down and he isn't the toughest of guys. However, I do think if Vitali fought Haye he would have Haye at least on the canvas in round 2-4.

Heavyweights don't drain for the wiegh in. :nono Ten pounds or so on a Heavy that's 6 foot 5 inches tall ain't much to talk about. Still, he wasn't in his prime as far as weight or age, I'll give you that.

Truth is, Vitali wasn't yet in his prime either. You could say Lewis helped Vitali find his prime. :deal After that he was smacking the living **** outta Kirk Johnson, Corrie Sanders & Danny Williams like they were nothings. Johnson was a very skilled, very powerful, explosive puncher that Vitali beat down like a young Tyson would have. Sanders & Williams were coming off their career best fights and VK handled them with ease, especially Williams.

Shocked to see you on her after your exposure on castlefootball or whatever its called. This racist forum for those who dont know.

Vitali has a better mentality, mostly because he has never been ko or dominated, therefore has never had to adapt or change his gameplan, wlad is protecting a suspect chin, so his style is much more conservative, but imo in this he has become a very good defensive fighter, although it is not crowd pleasing to watch.

Some fights to watch also, corrales mayweather, bernard hopkins, tito trinidad, kelly pavlik vs jermaine taylor, roy jones jnr vs richard hall, pac man vs marquez 1 mike tyson vs spinks, then in contrast lewis vs tyson, also watch some old sugar ray robinson, reguarded atg no1 by almost everyone on this forum. To get to know the sport, start with its roots first, also worth a look up willie pep, floyd patterson, and ali fights.

  4. Agreed.

I still don't agree with Lewis needing to give Vitali a rematch at age 38 like some Klithscko fans think, but overall ya Vitali did go crazy after the Lewis fight.

I really really do hope, the heavyweight prospects all live up to Hype to give Wladimir the rankings he deserve.

This is why I don't know why certain Kbro fans bash guys like Price or Mitchell or Jennings..

IMO. Wladimir NEED these guys to be great. So Wlad can beat them to climb up the ATG Ladders. Lol

Will you agree also that Wladimir can not afford to get knocked out again in terms of his legacy ?>>>>>>>

Again, I think you mistake me for someone else. I have always said it was Lewis' right to go out on a high note, unlike the Holyfield's, Toney's and even Ali. He deserves it and in my opinion he's top 3 to 5 all time at Heavyweight. It doesn't change the fact that as a boxing fan, I feel a bit cheated out of a great rematch. It's the same as saying I understand that VK & WK will never fight because their bros & their mom, blah, blah, etc. but I would still love to see it because it would be HISTORY and probably a great fight too.

  7. All Klithscko fans should also know.

The hate heaped on them was the exact same hate heaped on Lewis for an entire decade... by the Americans.

Depends on the circumstances. I believe he's already entered the lower half of the top 10 all time heavys and another TKO loss would def. hurt. If he avenged it and it was against a great fighter that went on to rule for a long time it wouldn't hurt as much.

I always liked Lewis & I've always been American. I'm not the average person though & most of my boxing friends hated Lewis & said Tyson or Bowe would KO him easy.

Wlad easily has more single punch power in his right or his left hook. Vitali throws many more punches & as many of his opponents and sparring partners say "Vitali throws mostly arm punches, but he throws everything with bad intentions and doesn't always step into those punches"

Good observations. Keep watching a lot of boxing. Try and stay objective on this forum. There are a lot of agendas on here and a lot of angry, insecure people who need a cuddle as well as a lot of comedians. Maintain objectivity and take a lot of what is said with a pinch of salt. If it is patently absurd, then it is probably just that - the person is trying to provoke a reaction - ignore it or lol. Keep making sound, unbiased observations and you'll be fine.

As for Wlad and Vitali. You'll notice that Vitali has better physical tools than his brother - he is way tougher and has a far better chin - he is also a 'fighter' and loves a scrap. Wlad on the other hand has a far weaker chin but as a result of this - he is a far better boxer - he is faster, more fluid and more powerful. Vitali was born to fight. Wlad had to learn. Hence their attitudes in the ring - Vitali is confident in his ability to take a shot, Wlad isn't. But that has forced Wlad to be a better boxer than his brother. By the way, have you seen Frazier-Ali 1? Barrera-Morales 1? Gatti-Ward 1,2 and 3? Hearns-Leonard 1. Corrales v Castillo 1? Hagler-Hearns? Ali-Frazier III? Any Joe Louis? Watch them man. Have fun :D

Thanks, dude for the tips - much appreciated. Btw just for clarification what exactly is an 'arm punch?' I have heard it on numerous occasions. My guess is that it's a punch where power only comes from your arm and not from the legs up in the sense an uppercut would be?

Try punching a body bag without moving your lower body to flow with the punch. Do it as hard as you can. That's arm punching more or less. Now try stepping back & throwing a punch almost like you would throw a baseball, stepping into the motion, putting all your weight behind it and trying to literally punch through the bag. That's a properly thrown power punch.
