So what if he did go on to knock him out? Calzaghe got no respect for beating a past-it Jones and Hopkins, Pac didn't get respect for beating a past-it De La Hoya and won't get any for beating a past-it Mosley, and you're talking about a guy that LOST to a past-it Lewis? You crack me up, you really do.
There's nothing to laugh about. Lewis never suffered a career injury, nor did his style change. He was a little overweight but that's it.
Your previous post made my point ie 'considering his age'. How on Earth does someone get credit for losing to an ageing fighter when others don't get credit for beating them? What makes me laugh is the crazy logic. How can anyone claim that a loss to a 37/8 year old is a good thing? Vitali put up a good fight but he lost to a legend, and there's no disgrace in that at all but Vitali's fans make out like it was some kind of victory.
Why do the Klits have so much hatred on this site? Yet ***gots like Mayweather and Haye get plenty of love...I'll never ****ing understand.
All those other fighters have insane fans and obsessed detractors. As do the Klitschkos and Pacquiao.
Yes mate, it was. Lewis wanted to keep fighting against McCall. Judah wanted to keep fighting against Tszyu the fight was stopped because Vitali had taken too much damage, and was unfit to continue. That's a legit, normal stoppage. It wasn't even a technical decision, it was a TKO. Damage caused by multiple punches (yes, one started it but look at his face. It's cut to ribbons from mouth to eye.). Shitty luck maybe, but it was a result of catching many big right hands with the side of his face.
Jesus, Brock couldn't have done a better job of catching Wlads jab with his face if he'd tried in that first vid. That was like watching me keep slapping my 5 yr olds forehead to keep him away when playfighting....
Because by the rules the technical decision would have been be in Vitali's favor. It was a single cut caused by thumb into the eye. WBC saw it the same way and ordered the rematch immediately.
This thread needs to hear from Fighting Weight. C'mon, man. It's Sunday morning in Birmingham, Up and at'er !
