Klitschko fan quote of the Millennia! (George Foreman no better than Danny Williams)

    We all remember the hilarious ''Klitschko fan quote of the week'' segment that used to run which was started by Fighting Weight, who has unfortunately passed away recently. RIP man! I Dedicate this one to you!

    Anyway stumbled across a post from a thread a few days ago called

    ''the klitschkos would dominate any era in heavyweight boxing apart from lennox lewis's''.

    Now believe it or not that is not even the quote of the Millennia i am referring to in this thread..... No the quote i would like to point out is from a pretty established poster on ESB, Bubby.

    This kind of post is just the type of hilarious garbage that has made the General Forum unreadable at times.

    Anyways here it is.

    Then if you thought he's joking....its followed up by


    I'm sure there will be a tremendous backlash from klit fans or Bubby supporters....but keep this in mind.
    The majority of hardcore klit fans on here are very good posters. the likes of Chef, Boxing Domain etc. You know who you are. i've had a lot of banter with you over the years. Its just a certain type and personality of poster that is giving klit fans a bad name all over this board.

    The type that dont watch boxing, and only watch the brothers. Who disappear months at a time while the brothers are inactive. the type that twist and turn everything to prove their point. the type that responds to every anti klit remark with ''STFU HAYE HAS A GLASS JAW'', ignoring the fact that most of us dont even like David Haye! The type that if you make a post praising wladimir, but making ONE point that disagrees with him, they jump all over it.

    I mean even the most hardcore of klit fans would admit that you cant compare Danny Williams with George Foreman?

    Anyways let the abuse for me begin :good

    She nows **** about boxing and wont listen to any common sens. I personaly try not to lose time with the full blown Klit haters and nuthuggers.

    i think the thread saying manny coming in under 150 in the margo fight was unfair because he didnt sacrifice his speed and that fighters who come in under weight should be punished thread was pretty bad

    Im a fan of Vitali comparing but Danny Williams to Foreman is ******ed I liked the Foreman feasted on 200 pound fighters part when Foreman was huge and weighed 220 most the time same as Tyson's average weight pre-prison.

    Danny Williams was a very brave fighter but also limited. Near his peak, he got destroyed by Audley Harrison. He just wasn't a skilled fighter.

    Foreman will always be underrated by people who know nothing about boxing though. They see he has power, he's wild, he's tough and come to the conclusion that he's some wild, crude slugger. He was more than that. Which heavyweight in history closed the ring off better than him? With the exception of Frazier, I don't think a single fighter cut the ring off better than he did. How many fighters were as strong as him? People talk about size, like it's the ultimate attribute but Foreman was stronger than Wlad, Vitali or any other heavyweight I've ever seen. Possibly his biggest asset, which no fighter today matches, was his mentality. He was just an animal and he knew it. He fought without fear and with the confidence that he could punch through a wall, never mind his opponent.

    Phenomenal fighter. To compare him to Danny Williams, Sam Peter, who is often compared to Foreman, or any other modern heavyweight is ignorant and shows a lack of boxing knowledge.
