Fat!? this isnt james Toney here!

Have you ever seen Haye when he weighs in at HW and Cruiser? he looks starved at cruiser.

Yeah and i suppose wlad is 7"1 KNOB.

Jirov has nothing to do with this post or thread. Plus he was a 190 cruiser for the best part not a 200 cruiser.

    This is hilarous.

By those standards, Lewis wasn't in his prime when he lost to McCall (he was the same age as Wlad was when he lost to Sanders), and was obviously past his best at age 35 when he lost to Rahman.

I'll tell you something....the "before" and "after" posts were hilarious when WALDO fought Sanders, the guy was dismissed as a joke from the moment the fight was announced, they laughed at his weight, they laughed because he'd lost to Rahman and they scoffed at his chances every chance they got.

Once the fight was over, the 38 year old version of Sanders became "the most dangerous southpaw in heavyweight history" and "WALDO didn't spar with any southpaws, that's why he lost" :rofl:rofl:rofl

I personally think the Purrity fight was more embarrassing due to Purrity not being World Class by any stretch of the imagination, he'd lost to every meaningful guy he'd ever faced apart from Morrison, where he got a draw. At least Sanders had faced decent comp even though he hadn't beaten anyone of note.

Ah yes but WALDO hadn't discovered the genius that is Steward in those losses. Oops, apart from the Brewster one, which is why they chose the poisoning excuse as opposed to the 'gassed' or 'no sparring with southpaws' excuses he used for his other 2 defeats.

But don't forget, golf works many of the same muscles as punching, and is a good low-impact subsititute for sparring. In fact, a finely honed gold swing, or even a smooth putt on the green does wonders for a boxer's straight left - absolutely viper like! :rofl:rofl:tong

That shows the flawed logic of the Klitschko haters. Purrity beat Wlad for two reasons:

    1. Wlad was 21, green and overpaced. His chin had zero to do with it.

    2. Purrity had incredible durability and was still standing after being a punching bag for ten rounds.

Haye fanboys keep bringing up Wlad's losses, ignoring the fact that Haye could never beat Wlad the way Purrity and Brewster did, absorbing punishment for several rounds and then taking over the fight when Wlad faigued. Haye could beat Wlad Sanders - style. However, Wlad has learned a few things since that loss and Haye is not a proven HW yet. Before the Sanders fight, Wlad did't even spar southpaws and he will certainly prepare well for Haye. Besides, if the worst version of Wlad shows up, he will most likely lose. If the version of Haye shows up that got beaten by Thompson, he is cannon fodder. So how about we expect both to show up in great shape and on top of their game? How about comparing their best wins, rather than their losses?

Wlad would most likely starch everyone Haye has ever fought. Would Haye win every fight if he fought McCline, the version of Peter that fought Wlad, Byrd, Brock, Thompson? All of these fighters would be favored against Mormeck or Barrett, Haye's best wins.
