Well then it's such a mundane fact to accept that the criticism directed at it is even less reasonable. If you were to look at the heavyweight division - historically AND in its proper context.... you would see this theme playing out era after era. It's only the knobs that think "ah ha! Now this criticism TRULY has value". As if it was an empty criticism when it was directed at Lennox Lewis, or Tyson or Holmes in their respective periods. And if it is the fact that you assume it to be, and if it is as consistent (historically) as I claim it to be.... then it's a double veto; because you have really no ground for pointing it at the Klitschkos with any more delight than past generations.
I agree. And people think that the HW division was not weak when Tyson was young? or when Holmes dominated in the 80's? Give me a break.
David Haye has dominated in that manner as those guys- at Cruiserweight. Now he is looking continue his streak at Heavyweight.
Another way to look at it is that they are BOTH dominant. Clearly, one of them would win in a head to head battle. And the other one would be number two. And number two (probably Wlad) is well ahead of the rest of the pack. There have never been two brothers in this position before, and so, given their sentiments and inclination, and given their momma's wishes, there is no precedent for them facing each other. Therefore, they are both head-and-shoulders above the rest. The only unanswered question is which of them would be MORE dominant, and regardless of the answer to that question, the most dominant HW boxer of the era is named Klitschko. AND, the second most dominant boxer of the era is ALSO named Klitschko. So Mrs. Klitschko has MORE reason to be chuffed than Mrs. Frazier, Mrs. Tyson, Mrs. Foreman et al (God bless their dear departed souls), as she has produced TWO dominators. She is the mother of the BEST HW alive AND the second best HW alive. Fact. :deal
Nothing, if it makes you happy. But if I remember correctly, you alluded to a legal education at some point. Surely you see the non-parallelism of such a comparison. There was no compelling reason for non-brothers NOT to fight each other. And you may notice that I complimented the Klitschko family (Momma specifically, if somewhat tongue-in-cheek), on being the dominant HWs of this era. If one of them retired, the other one would hold all the dominance. That they share it scarcely diminishes the accomplishment. I'm shocked that a man of your perspicacity and background would fail to discern the clear distinction between the Kitschkos' dominance, and that of two strangers.
Wlad is not the WBA champ, thats Valuev. Wlad only has the IBF, WBO and Ring titles (I don't count the IBO).
Do you have any knowledge i mean knowledge in hindsight is a great thing atsch Grant was the next big thing and the top contender and was hyped and backed by hbo so thats why he fought Lewis please think before your post. Also lewis didnt just beat those three opponents, he dominated them and beat them down the way a champ should:deal p.s spinks wasn't over hyped he was a light heavy atsch and holmes was indeed old but still went on to have a few good fights like taking undisputed heavyweight champ evander holyfield the full 12 and that was 4 years after the tyson fight and he was coming off a win against ray mercer. So i guess old larry wasn't so bad was he :yep
