Slick as hell? I guess if your point of comparison is Chris Arreola. Some remember when there were at least a some good athletes still pursuing professional boxing. The sport has certainly been on a long downtrend but calling either Klitschko "slick" really does put an exclamation point upon just how dismal the talent level is in the division. So to you VK is "slick as hell"?

Nah, I just don't have his **** down my throat like you apparently.

The Klits are okay athletes, well conditioned, with great size. Nothing to get excited about. This planet has a great number of exceptional large sized athletes. Just NONE of them are boxing at this time. The Klits are right behind Corrie Sanders in talent. He is more skilled they are bigger. No one is gonna confuse any of these guys with Ali or any greats.

I mean, I guess you're right to a degree... He WAS fighting Chris Arreola, but I never had seen him fight so elusively. He moved exceptionally well for a man of his size, boxed, and made Chris miss all night long. It was an outstanding performance....against a less-than-stellar opponent...I guess.

    :-(

So Lewis accepted the challenge of Kirk "the Whale" Johnson instead? Sorry, the fact is that Lennox dodged Byrd. One is free to speculate as to reasons why but it is highly doubtful Lennox declined because the fight would be too easy. Deal with it and move on with your life.

    And where's lefthook at? :|

    From Chicago Tribune:

CHICAGO _ Heavyweight contender Chris Byrd is a bit like the kid in the old joke who wakes up Christmas morning to a foul smell and is certain the pony he wished for is nearby.
Byrd, 31, the top-ranked challenger in the International Boxing Federation, has been within a whiff of a major title shot for years. Champion Lennox Lewis had to get the IBF's permission to bypass "mandatory challenger" Byrd and instead defend his IBF and World Boxing Council titles against Mike Tyson on June 8 in Memphis.

    From Sports Illustrated:

We’re not here to say Lewis is chicken -- not after he treated Mike Tyson like a tomato can last time he set foot in the ring -- but you wonder what’s behind his ducking of Chris Byrd. Word is Lewis accepted $1 million from King to give up his International Boxing Federation belt because he wanted no part of Byrd, a slippery southpaw capable of making him look clumsy.
This is business as usual in the not-so-credible fight game. Rather than taking on the mandatory IBF challenge, Lewis will sit ringside Saturday night for the title fight on HBO between Byrd and four-time champion Evander Holyfield. If you believe King, and we’ll leave that to your discretion, the IBF champ gets the winner of John Ruiz-Roy Jones Jr., with the winner of that being sold the promise of a title unification bout against Lewis next summer.
Byrd isn’t even buying it -- and he’s promoted by King, who also promotes Holyfield.
As an interesting sidelight here, Byrd recently moved with his wife and three children into a small gated community in Las Vegas. It wasn’t until after purchasing the place that he learned the neighbor directly across the street -- the one whose abode takes up half the block -- is Mr. King. That doesn’t guarantee any neighborly favors, though.
In fact, the way Byrd hears it, if Jones should win, he’s willing to fight Holyfield. But he, too, wants no part of the smallish heavyweight. At least that's Byrd’s opinion.
“Man, they just hate my style of boxing," Byrd sighs. “My style poses a problem for anybody that is in the division. Nobody wants to get embarrassed and lose at the same time. It has been frustrating for a long time. Like since I was 10-0, it’s been hard to get fights." The biggest offender? No question -- Lewis.

In the future, please don't bother calling me out. I really don't feel like wasting my time with someone of your maturity level again. Real men admit when they're mistaken.
