:huh FW usually you get good funny quotes... This one is not one of em im failing to see the ridiculous statement in what he said.. Two of wladamirs Losses were due to stamina and Rachman was a one punch Ko' Neither Lewis or wlad are really chinny. Its an unfair moniker that they have recieved despite fighting in the weightclass where one punch ko's are more commonplace.

 

I see your point and I agree it can be frustrating. But things are this:
In boxing (unlike other sports) a lapse in discipline, or/and a bad night is not easlily forgotten. Wlad is STILL living with all the negativitiy from his losses, another stoppage would be drastic to his career and legacy.

He knows he is not Tua/Foreman/Tyson, he is not durable enough to sit in the pocket and go toe to toe, regardless of his size, he just isn't that type of fighter. Everyone should respect that. They should respect that he recognized his weaknesses and vulnerabilities and made adjustments to minimize risk.

He is a defensive fighter now and STILL in the past 6 years he is 11-0 and only 2 fights have gone to decision :deal At one point he had something like 8 straight stoppages and people still complained about him not being aggressive enough atsch

 

I guess by that rationale Valuev should still be champ!

It is ironic that two of the most intelligent boxers ever have such a percentage of morons as fans!!

Maybe I am being a little tough on them. It is probably just a case of them knowing very little boxing history!!

They still can't get their minds around the fact that "Old man" Lewis busted up "Prime" Vitali so badly that the doctor was forced to stop the fight!!

And the same old **** gets mentioned "But Vitali was winning the fight when the bout was stopped"!! Indeed he was, but they were only half-way through the fight (And Lewis won rounds 5 & 6 on most cards, so there was a distinct momentum shift)!! And most would consider "Prime" Vitali a tougher opponent (H2H) than his brother!

 

Who's the "Chinny" fighter? How about Neither?
