Klitschko fans... I am feeling nervous about this one.

In the 2nd fight, Maskaev was ahead on the cards before the stoppage

He was ahead on one card, and down on 2. My bad.

Truth of the matter was, IMO, and many other ringside and what not had Rock winning the rematch. I don't know what the other 2 judges were watching. It was close, but Rock was winning.

I have similar concerns. I think Rahman's performance recently is exactly that -- a thinly veiled attempt to lure Wlad into complacency. It wouldn't surprise me one bit, if Rahman comes out blasting like Sanders did.

If Maskaev can avoid getting ktfo by Rahman (and Maskaev's chin isn't the greatest, either), then Wlad should certainly be able to. Rahman will come out swinging for the fences. He'll have about two rounds to connect big. Then Wlad will beat him into submission with the jab.

Altough I heavily favor Wlad to win I can't hekp have a feeling Rahman is gonna land on the chin and it might be a short night for Wlad.

Rahman's chin is far worse than Wlad's. When Wlad lands, it will be all over. It will be a short night, but it will be Glass-Jawed Rahman tasting canvas, yet again.

The old Wlad would have over looked rahman but the new and improved Wlad will never make the mistake to over look an opponnent like the sanders fight.

Widdow, I don't know why you're so worried.

    1) Wlad wants to unify the titles and he seems very genuine in doing this so I'm sure he isn't taking Rahman for granted.

    2) Rahman knocked out Lennox and Corrie and he also beat Ross Purrity. In a way, he is getting back at them by beating the guys that beat him except Lennox.

    3) Don't forget Vitali had unfinished business with Rahman.

    4) I don't know if this is on Wlad's radar or not, but he keeps on winning and in a matter of a few years he could have 20+ title defences.

I've seen Rahman do some things that would make an amatuer look like a true professional.

    Wlad will own him.

I cant see Wlad dropping the ball on this one. He will play it safe as per usual and stop Rahmna just past the half way mark.

Although watching Klitschkofall over is always funny I just cant see todays Rahman giving him trouble.

Stranger things have happened this year. It's been a year full of upsets really.

That said this isn't like the P4P #1 fighter in Manny Pac taking on an aging DLH and owning him. Nor is it like a grizzled veteran schooling a young punk with his bravado, ring savvy and just overall tenacity.

This is a Hasim Rahman who was getting hammered by James Flippin Toney taking on the #1 HW in the world right now. It'd take a severe miracle for him to pull it off.

Im not really worried about that fight, but i agree with Steward: Stylewise Rahman is much more dangerous than Povetkin. Povetkin has nothing in his arsenal to trouble Wlad, Rahman has. If he is able to bring it, is another question. But here you have a guy that knows how to knock out a big champ. So mentally he is able to do it. There are big question marks about what Rahman really has left, but Wlad better be careful.
I like the idea from one poster about Rahman coming out swinging. This really could be a possibility.

Rahman KO Lennox so he's got a chance.
