Klitschko fans....Why are you Klitschko fans?

Been following them since 96, and arguing with all the african american brothers in Chicago and Cleveland that they would be the guys to beat in 5 years.

OOPS. Now those same brothers are calling the Klitschkos the baddest motherfukkers on the planet.

I guess lately I even been hoping a brother might find away to win.

Did I just say that out loud.

 

A dumbass and a loudmouth obviously, but how does this cancel out the Klitschkos own dumbassmouthery?

 

Haye got under their skin by wearing teeshirts picturing decapitation of both brothers, constantly calling them out and being rude about them - then refusing to fight and constantly finding excuses not to fight despite signing contracts.

Wladimir being a proud man took offense. It's personal - in most cases, he never makes his fights personal, this one, he wants to go knock the **** out of the guy for being so rude.

 

I liked them ever since I first saw them in 1999. Big heavyweights who can punch accurately and hard and weren't clods in the ring. They got in there and destroyed guys which is what you are suppossed to do in that division.

I must say Benny, that Lewis stunk up the show just as bad as the Klitschko's did. He had a few exciting fights, but the majority were boring as ****.

Unfortunatley though and as evidenced by this thread a select few like "NoHomeJerome" turns it into bias, hateful, douchbaggery. Jerome has enough desperation to supply every Black American 10x over.

I can see why some people are a fan but I am not. I've felt ripped off when I've bought their PPV's recently and I wish WALDO would show more devil in his work. He is very catious and I'm no fan of his style. He and his brother can produce KO's but I'd prefer it is both, particularly WALDO introduced some dexterity in his repertoire. You can't fault them for winning and being dominant but to draw a wider fan base you need a bit more in my opinion.

 

I am a fan of Lennox but: Lennox couldn't get Mercer out, despite his size and skill advantage. Mercer didn't lose much by aging, yet Wlad annihilated him. Lennox struggled with Mavrovic and fought some very careful fights and was criticised for being a chess player in the ring. Wlad ripped through McCline and Austin, when he had no size advantage. Wlad destroyed the Axel Schulz, who got robbed against Foreman, a supposedly exciting KO artist. Lennox and the Klitschkos all ahd their share of careful fights as well as fierce fights.

I personally like the art of effective, dominant boxing. I like classy, educated boxers more than cannibalistic rapists like Tyson. When I watch Holyfield - Bowe, I see the two great warriors but also the antithesis of ring intelligence by Holyfield, trying to grind down a bigger, stronger man toe to toe. I appreciate the science of boxing in fighters like the Klitschkos. Boring is something entirely subjective.
