RUSKULL- you made sense with most of your post, but me and you could both agree Wlad was not fighting the same Brewster he fought in 04. Buddy was picked up fpr the sole purpose to teach Brewster how to avoid punches and not to engage in slugfests anymore, unfortunately Brewster is not much of a boxer and was killed trying to box Wlad. Brewster has also said he doesnt want to take hard punches anymore and wants to be around for his kids. The Lamon Brewster we seen in slugfests with Eitienne and Liakhovich is gone, and certainly didnt show up against Wlad.
That's only partially true. In the beginning of Klitscho vs. Brewster II Lamon was throwing some serious bombs to the point where McGirt told him to go back to what he taught him.
I still believe that something was wrong with Wlad for him to tire so quickly and be breathing so hard. The strange blood sugar levels that the doctors said he had seem to confirm my theory.
That may be true, but then Briggs can make excuses everytime he loses because he got asthma and frequently gets shortness of breath. Watch Wlad real close in the Mercer fight, I think it was round 3 Wlads face started turning colors which was similiar to the Brewster fight, even Merchant and Lampley commented on how tired and blue his face was in that round. If you get a chance check it out you will see what I mean.
We'll never EVER agree on this fight, at least we can agree on that much, right? Can we also agree that we're both stubborn ****s? OK, great :good Hmmm....thinking of it when did someone ever say 'you're wrong and this is why' and then have someone come back and say 'do you know what, I see the error of my ways, thank you for pointing that out' on this site??
Yes I have, several times and I disagree with Ruskulls opinion, and no doubt I disagree with yours. Let's not go over all that **** again eh, agree to disagree. I'm only a 'dumb hatter' remember, what the **** do you care what I think?
That **** never happens but it's funny I was just about to agree with Punisher33 that I do seem to remember Wlad looking a little "spent" early in the Mercer fight. I don't have it on tape but maybe he is right. I'll have to check YouTube when I get a chance. And no, we'll probably never agree on that Klitschko/Brewster fight either. :yep
I just find it a bit strange & bias that some here only recall the 3 losses but they forget the 46 wins, most by brutal KO. Even the most diehard haters & the fans here have to admit that they watch Wlad's fights from the edge of their seats. And now he's probably in his prime.
Klitschko fans aren't bad at all. They are passionate and loyal when it comes to Wladimir and/or Vitali (like Pac-fans, Mayweather-fans, etc) and there's nothing wrong with that. Wladimir fans have every right to be confident in his abilities right now - it seems as though he cannot be beaten.
