i already have a large bet on Wlad at 4/7. Mayweather was 1/2 against Hatton and I had a large bet there too. I also made a lot of money betting on Kessler to beat Froch and Pac to beat Hatton.

Fact is that noone gambles more than brits. They skew the odds.

the brits can make the line move....whats important to look at is the opening line....what the oddsmakers set....and im pretty sure this line hasnt moved much at all from where i saw it open at

Hayes starting odds in euro sites were 2.7

Slight changes but not too much. All guys who believe in Klitchko should bet on him because he havent had this good odds, since first Sam Peter fight

How do you guys bet on fights? I don't really want to get involved with online bookies and give them my credit card info, but this looks like easy money to me, assuming it's all on the level. I don't personally know any suckers who will give me the 2-1 odds, though it sounds like they must be a dime a dozen in the dive saloons and back alleys in what's left of the UK. Have you found any online bookies reliable and honest?

BWIN has been good to me, they have a variety of payment/payout options if you don't want to use a CC

I bet on Wlad @1.62 at ladbrookes, that was the best line. But its hard to say how its going to move as the fight draws nearer. Wlads price could get even better if more money goes on haye. But maybe the line was set like that to encourage Haye fans. Some big money will go on Wlad nearer fight time if the line is still as it is, forcing Wlads price to narrow. Any one else got an oppinion on how this line will change?

I bet 100€ for Hayes KO victory in betfair.

Better odds than just Hayes victory and I see no change of Haye winning with decision.

What you need to watch out for is odds changing radically right before fight time. Then you need to get suspicious. Because the criminal element has always preyed on boxing, and nowadays they don't even bother to hide it - just look at today's Fightnews.com with its puff pieces and pictures of Don King! When they are planning to mess with a fight they, and their friends and relations, will wait until the last minute to place their bets.

I'm waiting till the weigh in first. Probably going to launch on Klitschko for a late stoppage, straddled with Haye in rounds 4,5,6.

13 for 8 for Wlad isn't really amazing odds IMO -- for those who believe the odds are stacked in favor of Wlad.

If I assume he could lose 3 out of 10 fights (just hypothetically) then I'll end up making a risk-adjusted total return of 11.4% ... Which isn't enticing at all. Maybe the Brit fans can push Wlad to 15/8 or so. Then we'd be talking about a 31.2% return for Wlad to win @ a 7 wins vs 3 losses probability for Wlad.

The way I look at it will probably make any professional sports gambler cringe, sorry just my own approach coming from finance.

To bad Skybet aren't offering the 8-12 or pts for Wlad, I'd be all over it.
