Klitschko-Haye was a much closer fight than the scorecards

Sorry dude, but you must be a frustrateted Hayefan.

Haye made four or five rounds close (1, 3, 4, maybe the 12th or the 7th). These are CLOSE rounds, but why should you give all close rounds to Haye? So a 116-110 Klitschko, if you are a big Haye fan a 115-111 Klitschko is all, really all Haye can get.

Both fought a Crap and Boring fight, its just that Wlad was less crap and boring than Haye. Wlad wins by a CBUD.

I scored it 8-3-1 for Wlad. No way a case can be made for anything other than a Wlad win.

I don't think this fight was that great for Wlad's H2H legacy though. He missed a lot of punches and only really connected with one sweet right-hand that I remember. When will opponents realize that he cannot fight going backwards!?!? Not Wlad bashing at all but I give him very little chance against a prime Tyson.

All in all a pretty easy win for him though. I'd probably still buy a rematch if they made it but can't see any other outcome at all.

    True words :good

I think people just hate Haye and downplay his effort because of that
I was very suprised when I read threads here and majority were crying how boring the fight was

The problem is, the love of the Klitchkhos and pure hatred for Haye has blinkered many views. Rather than critising both boxers for a pants fight, we only hear Haye. Last time i checked, both fighters were hyping this fight up to a certain KO victory!

Well, I wanted Klitschko to win, maybe I was too generous towards Haye bc I didn't want to score biased, idk.

Another point that couldve blurred my judgement is that Haye performed better than I had expected...

All I can say is I was puzzled when I logged on to esb the next day and found out how everybody thought about the fight.

I dont think it was such a bad fight.

Definetly not bad for a Klitchko fight.

Wlad won a wide decision and rightfully so. It wasn't close.

How anybody had it close is beyond me, I give Haye 2 rounds of the fight.

Of course it was a bad fight for Wlad, he was bragging how Haye was a nobody and would KO him. Rememeber the 50 on his hand? Even though Haye was busy playing imaginary dodgeball in the ring, at least he was swinging and taking some risks. Wlad took almost no risks and was no where near KOing him. He was happy with just keeping Haye busy with jabs and maybe with an odd right hander.

Both fighters deserve to be critised for putting out an appalling HW unification bout.
