Klitschko-Haye was a much closer fight than the scorecards

I scored it 114-112 for Wlad, now that I rewatched it

Did you take it upon yourself to deduct one point from Wlad for each grain of sand that you were forced to wipe from your vagina during the fight or do you have cataracts?

 

How did you score it?

 

16 bajillion to .5. Same as Pierre Benoist.

 

118-108 - best I could give Haye was 115-111 and that was very generous. All for Wlad obviously.

 

It wasn't as one sided as people are trying to make it sound. Wlad was the comfortable/clear winner but he didn't dominate the fight from start to finish. I gave Haye 4 rounds, and I stand by that. Yes, Wlad was moving forward but all he was throwing was jabs and a high % were missing. Haye did have his moments, albeit infrequent and almost dropping off altogether in the second half of the fight.

I don't hate either fighter but it seems to me that a lot of people are factoring all the pre-hype bravado into their score rather than what actually happend.

 

There is an arguement that you could give Haye 3 rounds.

I also think it was not a bad fight, 12 rounds ended so fast, so it was far from being boring, frustating may be, but not boring, pace was very high

I agree with that actually. Since it was Wlad, and since Haye lost, people's default stance is, oh it was another **** snoozefest courtesy of WK.

 

NOT EVEN CLOSE. I finally saw the fight last night on HBO..... just like what I saw live...... no way was it close.... what ****ing fight were you watching
