Haye has an out of control ego. An ego that is poorly controlled is a weakness. When Haye realises that he is losing, that his very best is still not good enough, then that ego will turn on him.

Having your godlike self image exposed as false in the first rounds of a fight will take your heart away. A healthy, strong ego will survive. One that is uncontrolled will backfire when it is contradicted by reality.
