I really fancy David Haye`s chances in this fight. He seem to have the right attidude and I am sure he knows that he has to go to war. He can not stay on the outsde unless he can be quicker and connect from a distance.

Wladimir has a fragile chin and Haye can punch hard and it seems he is good to place his shots were it hurts. His speed is better and he shows more fighting heart than Wladimir. Wladimir to me is robotic and likes to keep his distance to be safe..He does not like to fight like Haye and we all saw how well Corrie Sanders did against him by using speed and heart. Haye is way better than Sanders techniqually and he is quicker than Sanders. He throws combinations and has good power..
I think that Haye would beat Wladimir on heart, speed and combination punching. I have this idea that if Wladimir gets hit on the chin he goes all over the place and he has show us all in the pass that he panics under constant pressure...The pressure must be followed up with hard shots that connects and the earlier Haye can connect the better for him.

Wladimir has a good jab, size and he has very good power. If he connects I wounder how Haye would take it?

I think Haye is under the skin of Wladimir who has to be be angry for the things Haye have done to get to Wladimirs head. I also think that as the fight gets closer and Haye kees up the talk, Wladimir would realize that he is in against a small man who is not afraid..He would also realize that Haye is coming to fight and Wladimir himself knows how he reacts to this and he also knows that he doesn`t like to fight. He is a boxer who doesn`t like to fight. Haye is a boxer who likes to fight and thats a big ifference if it comes to that.

I can see Haye winning on knock out early but it may also go some rounds..I think Haye has bette stamina and if he force Wladmir to fight at a high pace, Wladimir would burn energy quicker because he is bigger and would get tired sooner.

To say that Wlamir has the advandage in footwork, corner and is equal in speed is over the top..Haye is quicker and he moves a lot better and quicker. His corner is very good to..Corrie Sanders showed the world how to beat a big man standing flatffoted in the ring. He does not like to fight and that will be his downfall when a he needs to fight. His chin is weak and thats not good when he has to take it on the chin...

To say that Wladimir has better stamina is also silly because big men does not have better stamina than smaller men..They burn out quicker because their muscles needs more oxygen to function. Wladimir does not have a good chin and has been knocked out sevral times against secound class fighters...

Haye will do the same to Wladimir as Corrie Sanders did...He is mentally ready and I am not sure if Wladimir is...Haye is better than Sanders so look up for a big man going to the canvas.

To compare Wladimir to Holmes is rather silly. All boxing experts in the world says that Holmes has one of the best jabs in boxing history if not the best jab...
Holmes has beaten and meet top fighters..Wladimir has fought against secound class heavyweights all his career and he has got a beating from 3 of them.
Its a big difference to meet Norton and Shavers than it is to meet Sanders and Purrity and not to forget Brewster.

I really agree here. Some folks here stated that Wlad would beat up the great Larry Holmes. That is just a ****ing insult. Holmes had the best jab ever at heavy and the the best 1-2 combo next to Ali. Holmes would go to war with Wlad and destroy him in the later rounds.Holmes had a huge heart and decent chin, he would take Wlad into the deep waters where he has never been in his entire career. Holmes would beat Vitali to.

    Back to Haye-Wlad.

Haye has the advantage in speed and movement.

Wlad has better physical tools and huge edge in experience. To me, Wlad is the favourite, Haye is a live underdog. I hope HAye wins but conventional wisdom says Wllad stops Haye iin the middle rounds after an exciting fight.

Holmes was great and had a very good chin. His jab was not the fastest if we compare it to Ali`s but it may have been more precise and harder. To compare Wladimir to Holmes is a big insult...
You can`t compare a man being knocked out against Brewster and Sanders to a man never knocked out in his prime. Wladimir was knokced out against secound class fighters in his best years as a fighter which is a big difference.
Wladimir does not have a big fighting heart and he goes all over the place if someone catch him hard enough...To me he has a glass jaw and you can actully see that his bonestructer in the jaws are weak..Compare his jaws to Mike Tyson and it`s easy to see..

I compare Wladimir to Frank Bruno who acted the same when he was hit hard but Frank had a better chin than Wladimir..

All that Haye has to do is to be in Wladimirs chest and connect with hard shots..He needs to outspeed him and make Wladimir to respect him as early as possible. If Wladimir gets hit hard fast he will start to panic a little bit because I do not belive he is strong mentally under serious presssure. He is a on the top fighter who like to control the match from a distance. Haye is by far his best challenge yet and he is ready mentally for it. He has studied Wladimir for years and knows how to beat him in his own mind...

I think Haye will knock Wladimir out because I do belive that Haye is stronger mentally and that he is a far better fighter than Wladimir. Wladimir is a boxer who doesn`t like to fight. David Haye is both. This will be a mental match as much s physical..

When Wladimir is driven on his backfoot he looks stunned. He seem to freeze and lose control and in these situation Haye can unleash combnations of fast hard punched to body and head..If one serious bomb connects Wladimir is out. I think Wladmir would have a harder time hitting the faster Haye, who would be in the best shape of his life..

Just wounder..How can anyboy see that Wladimir has better footwork than Haye? Wladimir is much more flatffoted and stiff and doesn`t move much in the ring.

David Haye moves good in the ring and is way quicker in his feets...Wladimir is slow and robotic when he moves and punch while Haye fload more and has way better combination punching..

Wladimir does not have good footwork and if we compare them both to Ali Haye is much closer in quikness and agility..One of the reasons is because he is the smaller man and would natrually have better agility unless he was stiff..Wladimir is stiff and up right which is typical for big men...Haye is not stiff and his body structer is made for ducking and diving..His hips are lose..Wladimir is stiff in the hips and that creates bad footwork.

One of the few men with stiff hips that could move is Evander Holyfield. When fighters with stiff hips moves it always looks a bit funny iunless you are Evander Holyfield. Ken Norton had the same problem but he was never a good mover..

David Haye is good to circle around and he does so floading..Has anybody seen Wladimir fload around the ring? Haye circles fast and precise and he sets up his punches from the right angles..Wladimir sets up his punches when he stands flatfooted and has the balance planted to the ground..Haye does not but I have also seen that Haye can do what Wladimir does.

He's a heavyweight who boiled down. Ever heard of a guy being weight drained?

He's much more comfortable at heavy, and besides, he wasn't hurt when he got put down. And who even put him down recently? JMM and he got straight back up and knocked his arse out.

Stop with the excuses. Haye has a Glass Jaw. Period. So does Wlad but his Chin is much better than Haye who if he could not take punches at Cruiserweight WILL NOT be able to take them at Heavyweight especially from the Division's #1 or #2 hardest puncher which Wlad is.

As far as Holmes..The long reign he had and the way he dominated the divison in his prime tells us a lot..He beat Carl the truth Williams in his prime although he was pass his prime..

He beat Tim whiterspoon,Bonecrusher Smith,Mike Weaver and made the contenders look amaturish..He beat all these former heavyweight champions in their primes..He beat Gerry Cooney in his prime rather easy.

Mike Weaver went 6 rounds with Lennox Lewis when he was closing in at 40 years of age..Bonecrusher Smith went 12 rounds with Mike Tyson pass his prime and Tim Witherspoon knocked out Frank Bruno in his prime. Bruno fough a very good fight against world champion Lennox Lewis pass his prime, so go figure out the rest.

Larry Holmes was world champion for 7 years and he dominated the divison against far better fighters than Wladimir is fighting..When Haye knocks out Wladimir on confidence alone people would understand how bad he is in the chin department..All it takes is somebody who can connect and have the mental state to do harm.

As far as the best punch in boxing "the jab" I would say that Ali was the fastest,Holmes the hardest and most effectiv and Joe Louis close to Holmes as far as power and being effectiv.

Sonny Liston may have a harder jab than Louis and Holmes but he lacked quikness and the same precison that Holmes and Louis had. Who really know?

As far as fighting and boxing Ali still stands supreme over all others..
