Wlad will beat the weak WBO champion easily, Iggy has nothing in his arsenal to make Wlad nervous. Iggy is very stupid for taking this match when he doesnt have to, I dont understand Iggy's logic in taking this fight.

Brag will soon be a fighter of the past. He goes out like Brock. Maybe like Austin, after a very tentative 5 rounds of boxing.

Iggy has average power, not a pressure fighter at all since being knocked down by Ray Austin, the same Ray Austin that got his ass blasted out the park by Wlad in the 2nd round. Iggy has nothing better than Wlad besides a Chin and possibly stamina, I am a Wlad hater and would love nothing more than to see Wlad go into another panic attack, but its not going to happen in this fight.

I hope it happens. Iggy has proven to be decent enough. He is in his prime, and un-defeated.

Exactly, Wlad will get him out of there around 7th round. Wlad will jab him the death for 6 rounds and then drop the steel hammer on Iggy in the 7th, Manny will tell Wlad to start putting his weight behind your punches, than thats the cue for Wlad to start opening up on Iggy.

Logic? His logic is that his purse for this one fight will be as big as his purses would be over the next couple years fighting second rate opponents. And if he loses, he still only loses the belt; it's not as if Sam Peter isn't still generally considered to be #2 after losing to Wlad. If he puts together a spirited showing, his stock should jump, not drop.

in his defense...Iggy had trained poorly prior to the Briggs fight. He was gassed against Austin after dominating him the first half of the fight.

He would take the fight because he's a real fighter and wants to prove himself.

I think this fight is more competitive than some think it will be.

Ibragimov will have to go back to his more aggressive past where he would swarm in with hard body shots and push the action, not allowing Wlad to dictate distance and dominate with the jab.

I'd like to see this fight happen.

Yeah, I see what your saying. Who's the last fighter to have a good showing against Wlad? The fighter to give Wlad a competitive fight was Peter in 05, everyone that has lost to Wlad since has been damaged goods. Bryd, Brock, Austin, and Brewster are all done as good competitive fighters, its not like Sultan is any more special than the fighters I named either.

Sultan will lose badly to Wlad, it will be the Brock match all over again. I think Iggy would of been better served just to take a match with another big name and make almost as much money, against a Tua or Golota or something.

I give him credit for stepping up to Wlad and fighting him, but he could make a big pay check by fighting someone who he can probably beat if he wanted to. I just dont think Sultans using his brain by taking this match, unless this is his last match and just wants a paycheck like Brewster.
