for someone who has a name "boxing guru" you need to watch fights for a change. I did not make it up....It is well documented by boxing writers, people who actually have watched Ibragimov fight...and many on this board that in the past Iggy would become gassed too early.....Watch the Whittaker fight you JACKASS! the announcers talk about how Iggy is gassed constantly. Watch the first half vs. the 2nd half of the Austin fight. Then compare it to Briggs and Holyfield where Ibragimov, although not rock solid in appearance, is visibly more fit, and able to move well during the entire duration. I did not make it up, and I resent being accused when what I claimed is obvious to anyone who half way knows what theyre talking about. Obviously you do not.
I'm so glad this fight is on the brink. I was cautiously optimistic when I first heard the rumors. I really have to give credit to Ibragimov for this. He deserves to be paid handsomely for his charity to the sport, in donating this belt to Klitschko, creating an undisputed hw champ, and last but not least, because of the ass whooping he's going to get.
Everyone whos saying this is stupid move for Sultans part, should remember what a great opportunity it is for him for making name and legacy. hes southpaw style could also give problems to Wlad.
Very nice fight, can't wait for it to happen. Klitschko is going to knock Ibragimov out in brutal fashion, will be something similar to the way Brock was finished off and it will be early too. I'll be REALLY shocked if Ibragimov sees the 7th round.
I think if he loses, Ibragimov may retire for a while, but he'll certianly get that itch after being away from the ring for a year or so, and will comeback, almost certianly. A fighter only 31-32 years old, with only one defeat won't be able to just let it go, just like that. No way. But we don't even know if Sultan will retire, at all, if he's beaten. I think if he gives a spirited performance, even in loss, he won't suffer any decline in clout, and very little decline in ranking. But we've yet to see if he even loses, and also yet to see if the fight even happens..........so I have the cart put way before the horse........ That said, to me, there are few things in boxing as exciting as seeing two titleholders, as they each step through the ropes, each with their own respective titles. I love it when their cornermen show the belts to the crowd, letting all know that they are both about to go to one fighter. Sort of like a Clash of the Titans......... Two kings, in battle............Great stuff! Bring it ON! This content is protected This content is protected And when/if, this partially unified champion meets Chagaev to further unify, that'll be a huge fight., especially in Europe.
I hope it happens. The division needs unification and I think that Wlad will provide it. I also think that Ibragimov is taking this fight because he wants out of the fight game and this is the biggest fight out there. Klitschko tko8 Ibragimov
Wlad wins, by brutal stoppage. I can't see Ibragimov having that much of a chance at all. If he gets rocked like he did by an old version of Holyfield then Wlad will destroy him. Klitchsko TKO7 Ibragimov

It seems the fight's signing is now very close. May already be a done deal.
I was mostly just joking, but there is no excuses he got a draw with Austin, he still would of got knocked down by Austin even if he was in shape.
Yeah of course. If you knew ANYTHING about boxing you'd know EVERYTIME someone loses or performs poorly they say they weren't in shape. Please don't go around stating things as facts when you know good and damn well you don't have any proof he wasn't in shape.
you didn't support your arguement at all. I clearly was stating an opinion which i supported and supported in my response to your moronic "you made this up". and instead of responding to my valid points ...you just said the same thing....if Its made up...why are the announcers saying it during Ibragimovs fights? get a clue fool.
This is very good new if it´s true. Aside from Valuev, there aren´t really any good opponents for Wlad aside from the other champions. Wlad should definitely dominate this fight, but Ibragimov is certainly to be taken seriously. He is far from being a journeyman type - Wlad is just so much better.
