A win means he'll continue on to the next fight in his quest to remove all doubt as to who is THE MAN, and his winning streak, and dominance is still intact, and will press on, as he continues to clean out the divsion.

As unexciting and disappointing as the fight was, you gotta admit that this (just stated above) is the main thing.

Wlad should have showed more desire in this fight. I agree that the point of the fight is to acquire the vistory, and that not ever fight can end in a KO..the problem everyone is having is that THIS FIGHT COULD AND SHOULD HAVE ENDED IN A KO. I thought Iggy was going to win, really, but the performance of Iggy last night was woefully inadequate, and if..if....Wlad would have let his hand go he would have won the fight dramtically. He would not let his hand go. Why? Is he a shot fighter? Perhaps, that is why many a fighter fails to let their hands go. Yet, I feel, worse than that..he just simply wont take the "risk" that would enable him to be considers a great HW. Klit shoudl have and could have tested Iggy more than he did.

Wait and see what's gonna happen when Maskaev lands an uppercut.... before you even mention Peter and Klitschko in the same sentence.

As for Klitschko, I went to see him fight Peter, Brock and yesterday Ibragimov. I have no intentions to go see another fight of his after what I witnessed last night.

this is exactly why fights should be on tv for free for the most part like most other sports. "this pay per pooh" thing has got to go and make fighters earn the right to million dollar ppv events and not expect we want to pay to see them in boring matches. if we weren't supposed to be entertained we could simply tune into the news the next day and find out who won and watch highlights.. to which this fight had not one. he will not be able to sell anything for a while mark my words the only thing about this fight is that we sorta got an answer to the who is the man at heavy, sadly we know it's a bleak devision as of right now and the only guy who can resurect it didn't show his skill and thats a waste. i like wlad and i know he is dissapointed with what happened and will bounce back with a good showing soon enough as long as they have someone to bring it out in him and make him work like he can and not just coast to a sure thing. even holy vs ibrag gave us more .

You are indeed right, but Klitschko was also promoting this unification for the sport itself. His Malignaggi impression was destructive.

    My sentiments exactly :yep

Maybe Wlad's strategy was hit him so many times with a left that he'd be begging for a right.

I don't see you sacrificing your time training or risking your health fighting .. You boxing fan need to be a little bit more respectful to the athlete that compete in this sport .

If you truly love the sport you take the good with bad. every fight can't look like a movie real of Rocky .

Hypnotize your opponent with the left jab, they put them to sleep with the right.
