Don't bet on it - most of these guys will be among the first to shout how washed up Brewster was!! Count on it. :nod

Fact is - I can't understand how ANY objective boxing fan would give Brewster much more than a remote puncher's chance in this fight. Wlad was on his way to stopping him last time until he ran out of gas - and that's when Brewster was at the top of his game. :patsch

Since then, Wlad's made adjustments to improve his stamina, and Brewster has been beat up by Lyakhovich, injured, had over a year layoff - and in general, declined.

The result of this fight isn't hard to pick. Wlad by late stoppage after a one-sided beatdown.:yep

Too bad, people give excuses ( some of them elaborate ) for EVERY one of Wlad's losses, and a puncher's chance against someone like Wladimir is a VERY good chance.

I think this is a 50-50 fight, and I'll rate the winner very highly, providing it's a good fight like the last one.

People talk about the first fight being one-way traffic until Wlad folded quickly in the 5th but Brewster also hurt Wlad pretty badly in the 3rd round.
Brewster took a lot of punches in that one, but the point is he took them and kept coming, never really looked on the brink of losing to me, even when he was knocked down. Brewster is one tough fighter.
    Let's give him credit.
And let's give Wlad credit if he beats him.

I hope these two dont disappoint and come to hug and hold for 12 rounds.

Nice to see someone with some sense. People seem to think we're back in 2004. They don't seem to realise that since then Wlad has improved whereas Brewster has declined. Hell, Wlad went 12 with Sam Peter who I believe is a supremely better talent than Brewster, not to mention hits like he's got bricks for hands.

I think that most people are just generally happy to pick on Wlad because of his previous situations. They'll say there is NO chance for Wlad to win, and in the same sentence say how Wlad gets no credit for beating an old washed up fighter. If you think Wlad has such a little chance to win, then you have to give him credit for winning if he does.

Rational thought eludes those people it seems. That said, Wlad KO 6 :bbb

I would love for Brewster to win but I highly doubt it'll happen. Brewster has been beat up and out of the game for a long time with a bad injury. Add to the fact that Wladimir has improved quite a bit and it spells doom for Lamon.

    Lamon is gonna get stopped.

:hey Gotta love boxing fans eh?

Brewster has one chance to win the fight, land a hellacious left hook and KO Klitschko. He won't do it on the inside because of Klitschko's clinching, and can't throw it from the outside effectively because of Klitschko's amazing jab. But yet, Brewster has Klitschko's number somehow? I love Brewster, the HW division needs more guys like him who WANT to fight...but there is no way Klitschko is "tailor-made" for Brewster. Had Klitschko not gassed out in the first fight, Brewster would of been trashed.
