OK. So for myself and the other negligible minority who gave Johnson a chance to pull the upset, yes...egg on our faces.

Granted, both conversationally and in polls/prediction leagues, my official PICK for the fight was always Klitschko UD. I did, however, give KJ a very strong chance of maybe forcing Vitali to punch himself out and then unleashing some hidden power that he'd somehow been storing in a camel hump somewhere for just the right moment. I also promised many people who were less familiar with Johnson that this would be a good, competitive challenge. :verysad Sorry.

THIS IS A TWO WAY STREET, HOWEVER.

Many people tipped Klitschko to blow out Johnson and stop him by the mid-rounds, and would not budge on the issue...arrogantly insisting that Kingpin was a KO waiting to happen simply because he was taking such a major step up in class (ridiculous logic, completely ignoring Kevin's good chin and the fact that he's always been a defense-oriented survival-first type of boxer..and the fact that comeback Vitali is not a very hard hitter, despite racking up some nice scalps by stoppage...mostly from accumulation/attrition).

So those of you who were overconfident in the KO, and ridiculed anyone who disagreed - even including those who agreed Vitali would win but figured on a shutout instead of a stoppage - fess up here. Identify yourselves, and wear the cone of shame. You look just as foolish and have just as much crow to eat as those of us who gave KJ a slim chance of winning.

Yer I thought Johnson was gonna keep things close most the fight with his jab, he was too scared though, I did pick him to go the distance

I thought his style would be good enough to give Vitali problems and maybe make it the distance. I was right on that front, although I thought Johnson would have to put up more a fight to accomplish all that. Guess I was wrong about that.

Vitali last three fights were 8, 9, 10 TKO respectively. On top of that his not a one punch KO artist. He just likes to weary you down and beat you up. I predicted a late round TKO around 10-11, but cognizant that it could very well go to distance. That became more evident after the second round.
