It's a good fight for Vitali given he'll have almost 3 years' worth of ring rust, coming back from big injuries and in his mid-thirties. If this was Vitali in his prime it would be worthless, but for Vitali at this stage in his life and career, McCline is definitely a suitable opponent I think. I'm not expecting much from this fight, though.
I'm very excited about this fight. Vitaly was my favorite fighter when he retired. He will be my favorite again. Hate him if you want the champ is back.
McCline is going to get housed. He better pray for a cut like Lewis got or an injury like Byrd got. Otherwise: He's toast, fast.
Vitali needs a tune up but lets not call McCline world class. He has the mindset of a big friendly teddybear with about as much boxing ability as a teddybear. Not to mention McClines shot now anyway
Surely McCline knows he's merely playing the role of a sacrificial lamb, cause he's not even pictured on the poster. This fight is McCline's big chance, after two big fight disappointemnts in being beaten by Byrd, and the injury against Valuev; a fight in which McCline was actually do well. McCline was somewhat hesitant, but he was certainly getting inside, here and there, and scoring on Valuev.
