The biggest fight of Vitalis career was against on aged and out of condition Lennox Lewis and he still LOST!! He need desperately to have a high profile name on his ledger otherwise is legacy is done with.
Haye is a legacy building opponent? No.....he's an interesting, entertaining, engaging, opponent....but isnt a legacy building opponent.
I kind of agree with this. The only thing that it would add to the legacy is that Haye was former undisputed cruiser champ. Although as HW Champ this is a fight you should win.
People can laugh all they want but I think Haye VS either Klitschko would be the most exciting fight in the HW division we could get.
Vitali has nothing to prove, he is one of the greatest ever. if not the greatest ever. there are no suitable marquee american names for him to beat, they (Guinn, Grant, Peter, Brock, McCline etc. ) have all been destroyed by Lewis and Wladimir. haye has a lot to prove since he ducked out of boxing Wladimer AND Vitaliy earlier this year.

What in the Hell has Haye ever done? Haye actually lost to Valouev, he did nothing. Holyfield did better, so did Ruiz and Chagaev did beat Valouev. Vlad beat the read WBA champion.
