    Klitschko's Response to Haye
    [yt]O5VQtI6mjlU[/yt]

David Haye is the british version of Floyd Mayweather maybe he recieved some tips on how to act like an ass except he has proven nothing in the HW division to back up his talk...
The way he got into Klitschko's face he deserves to get knocked out. Klitschko is actually doing Haye a favour by not fighting him now to allow him to make a little bit more money before he ends his boxing career.

    :thumbsup

Correction: Haye needs to KO Wlad ASAP so we can have a heavyweight champion with an exciting style and charisma and not a boring clinching ****.

David Haye will get his shot in good time.

He may have to wait a little while so perhaps he can occupy himself by fighting at heavyweight.

What's with you Brits all calling Haye "charismatic"? Let's get something straight: arrogance is not charisma!

Lol. When Haye countered with "I've done my job. I'm an Undisputed Champion. You know what that means? Where's your undisputed title?"....Klitschko was awfully silenced for a moment there.

I don't know which way the fight will go,..but I do know that Haye got this first smack-talk round with the Undisputed reference.

Iconic Character....you simply have it or you don't.
That's why Klitschko will never become an icon like the previous great champions.

I wish more heavyweights would smacktalk for real like the Alis, Holmes and Tysons.
The champion should be a beast (preferred with intelligence).....not ****ing dignified.

Remember the old exciting times when challengers would block the champions car (or even dropkick from the car). That was true rivalry.

Klitschko couldn't wait to get out that situation. He didn't even spoke a memorable line.
Man do I miss the old champions who would've jumped on an occasion like this.

Well, one thing's for sure, Haye is a guy you want to watch whether you hate him or love him. I can't wait to see what he does at HW.

I'm not a fan of Klitschko, some of his performances have been terrible but I hope he takes on Haye and knocks him out in the first round. The man is an arrogant twat.

He went silent because it was too stupid to respond to without being patronizing.

    Cruiserweight is different from heavyweight.

To my understanding, the process of unification is the same in each division: you fight and beat all the other champs.

That's something Haye did in his division in a very short time (and Klitschko hasn't been able to do for a long time now in his division). Haye can call himself truly undisputed and linear, so that does give Haye some bragging rights to stick at klitschko (who can't call himself those titles. Hence the hurtful silence. It hurt him inside for sure).

I'm not sure about Hayes hw-skills, but I have respect for him for calling out a champion in person and in a genuine way.
He tried to do what many other great champions did in the past (carry the aura of a champion outside the ring) instead of acting blank and dignified. If you are a true champion and you are being called out by a undisputed champion,...then you don't try to run away; you talk smack back!

Good post Gerard, I'm not a fan of Haye, but the guy does have what it takes to be a household name in America or anywhere else for that matter, Wlad doesnt. Haye's more exciting to watch and he isnt a afraid of mixing it up with his oppenents, but he also knows what to do behind a mic, something most Heavyweights now know nothing about.

I think Mr. Haye is a fighter that can grow on me, for now he needs to prove himself in the ring, and silence the critics who claim his chin is too weak to compete with the best punchers at Heavyweight.

My thoughts are Vitali is going to KO Sam Peter and then KO Haye.

Why Vitali and not Wlad? Vitali isn't going to be hampered by mandatories and selling a Haye bout to WBC isn't hard.

    No.

The condition of each division is different.

Theoretically you are correct but the theory is useless.

Wlad had less than half as many clinches vs. Thompson than Ali would employ....................
