i've no problem with haye being a loud mouth and getting in klitschko's face, the heavyweight division could do with someone to liven it up.it doesn't alter the fact that he'd be knocked spark out though.

So I guess you're claiming that Haye has single handedly brought the HW's back to prominence without even throwing a punch?

Dumbass statement of the day.

Wlad behaves like a true champion who does his talking with his fists in the ring. It's a welcome change from the Mayweather, Toney & Haye bravado.................especially for the next generation of boxing fans.

This video is so unintentionally funny. The way Wlad is genuinely shocked and surprised about someone who he has never even heard of.

i'm not mad on wlad as a fighter, although he has a lot of talent and is a good champion.he does conduct himself with great dignity however and seems a genuinley good man.the thing is there are quite a few people who don't go for that, lennox used to get the same stick.

I love the way Wladimir conducts himself. But I always found Lennox to be arrogant, never praised his opponents(couldn´t even say that Vitali was better than he thought after the fight)... an unlikeable pompuss idiot egomaniac in fact. Couldn´t stand his practiced wannabe quotes "i have an arsenal of punches I can throw at any given moment" and he had some rhyme to that he uttered all the time but i forgot what it was, it was like he was trying to copy ali´s mojo... embarrasing to watch.

I think the best thing for Wlads career was Haye coming along. The fact is many do not rate Wlad that highly as an ATG because he is fighting in a poor era with little competition. The only interesting fight would be a rematch with Peter and even that doesn't scream mega fight to me or many others. The fans are bored with the current heavyweight scene and Haye coming along could change that.

With Haye coming along and being arrogant and very confronatational a proposed Wlad/haye fight may very well become Wlads defining fight. Looking at all the Haye threads and considering he has only fought once against a no hoper at heavyweight only confirms how much interest there is in a fight between these 2 fighters. Wlad should bide his time and let Haye build his reputation at heavyweight and continue letting him build up this potential fight. Beating an unproven Haye would mean nothing to his legacy but if Haye can put some decent wins together this could be the biggest fight at heavyweight in years.

Whether you find Haye charistmatic or simply and arrogant twat the fact is he gets peoples attention. Anything that can get the fans talking about the heavyweights again is good for the sport.

Well. While I agree that Rahman had weak performances with the above, Toney was absolutely awful in his last two against Peter and Betchelder, based on which his skills absolutely diminished. As far as him looking slimmer, have you seen him in person? Actualy for his last fight he showed at 229 and sucked. I doubt he will be less than 229 for this Sat.

Batchelder runed whole fight and that did make Toney as a counter puncher look bad. However it wasn’t a close fight, even when one of the idiot judges gave it to Danny.
In Peter fight he however looked bad but even that level performance might be enough to win against Rahman.

As far as looking slimmer you might be right. I would guess he will come in 225.
