Peter doesn't have the skills or the physical tools to dominate the first four rounds unfortunately for him. He will be knocked out in 5.

    Scar,

Foreman like others who have come back ballooned up in weight during his time off. Vitali did not do that. There is a difference there.

I know he proved his chin and I know his chin is top class since he proved it against Lewis even with half his face damaged and bleeding heavily. Though I'm really not confident how well he will take it after 4 years off, he wasn't coming off 4 years of inactivity when he ran into Lewis.

This topic doesn't even deserve a discussion and no I'm not saying that his ability to take a punch will fade, all I'm saying is the way he reacts to it might be different.

Possible, but not likely. Those scales are calibrated for a reason.

Well, Peter was a human punching bag against Wlad. He could take the shots because Wlad almost exclusively hit him with jabs and straight rights. Peter could absorb those punches because he has a very strong neck. It's no coincidence that Wlad's most effective punch was a left hook which made Peter do the chicken dance. Straight shots are enough to keep Peter at bay but probably not enough to put him away, for that you need to nail him from odd angles, hooks, uppercuts, etc.

Do we have an official prediction thread for this fight?

And is there a live internet feed available?

Vitali has been inactive for about 4 years and Peter will probably be all over him in order to try to take advantage. Peter is very dangerous in the early rounds. Vitali's gameplan will probably be to take the fight into the middle rounds just as was the case for the Sanders fight. And remember, this may very well not be the Vitali of 2003.

I know he didn't do that but both were still considered inactive and that's the point here.

Disagree, Peter hasn't been dangerous in the early rounds against any top fighters. He had trouble putting away glassKaev. It took him 5 rounds to do that.

He has exactly ONE knockout over a top fighter in his life.

The scales are always supposed to be calibrated before a weigh in. These are for official records..whether they actually do it is another story.

    Exactly:good
Peter is fine with straight puches...but hooks, uppercuts, and angles hurt Sam. Once again...this is a terrible style match up for Sam

WOW. please dont tell me that we are making excuses for Sam being out of shape :-( :huh
We are blaming the scale now? Maybe the scale has a ruptured eardrum and is off balance :yep
