Too many people talking ****. About weight, about skills, about chin. Don't kid yourself in this fight Vitali would go through the hell.

Styles make fight and It 's really hard to predict how the fight play out. Likely, Vitali would face an adversity and should avoid quick rights and leading hooks, adjust and get into rythm. He should get used to constant pressure. Of course he should accumulate some damage on Peter without gassing out. Overall not an easy task.

I expect really tough ugly fight.

I agree, Peter is in better condition that he's given credit for. He has gotten himself lean enough to where his abs are clearly defined, and he has to had to put alot of work to get that lean. He is heavy, somewhat yes, but its not really due to fat, cause he's not really fat, now. The extra weight is, hopefully, muscle that will translate into beneficial power, but not so much muscle as to hinder his stamina, as Briggs has.

Credit to Peter. :good He also looks like he's well conditioned and fully ready, as well.

Course we won't know how much stamina/cardio conditioning either man has til the actual fight, but they both appear, on the surface, to have done their work in spades. Vitali, especially. He looks more powerful and muscular than he ever has, in my opinion. I think/hope his power is surging, cause he'll need it in this fight. Vitali's stamina will be a big question mark, though, I think we all will agree. He is a very disciplined and dedicated athlete, but as big as he is, and having been out of the ring for four years, how long he can keep up the pace, given Peter's pressure..............yet to be seen. Fair enough. But I tend to think he's taken every chance and method to fully test and prepare himself from a cardio standpoint. He's too smart to even attempt a fight on this level, cold, if he were not fully prepared in every way.

With two heavy hitters like this, it should be a great fight. I have been looking forward to this for months and months, as I know many of us have.

    :good :good :good

Why do people so casually forget that Sam had all of 10 days to prepare for McCline? And why do people like to ignore that he had a ruptured eardrum?
I'm NOT making excuses... Peter got his bell rung and almost got stopped. But to not factor in these two HUGE pieces in to the fight is just plain ignorant. Ohh, one more thing people seem to forget is that Peter won every round after getting knocked down and won a wide UD.

    Let's be fair. :good

What did McCline do?, last time I checked McCline lost. Yeah, he dropped him and looked like he was nearly going to stop him but that didn't happen. If anything Peter proves to be MORE dangerous from that experience, he was hurt badly, dropped three times and still got back up to win the fight. This proves heart rather than weakness.

But it also ruined Peter's remaining aura, and made him appear so beatable to everyone in the division.

Seems like every time Peter is brought up to any heavyweight, they all now wants a piece of him.

The beating Wlad put on Peter severly damaged his aura of the conan esque powerhouse. McCline further drained his powerhouse puncher aura AND his iron chin reputation,, and tomorrow nite, Vitali will pull the drain plug on whatever is left of his aura.

We'll see, I'll be rooting for both guys as I'm a fan of both. So much talk about this fight and the MANY questions involving both fighters just makes this a fight worth discussing and looking forward to.

Vitali looks in great shape. Peter always looks a little round around the middle, he could've lost more weight I'm sure.
