So did Ali when he fought Holmes...the way you look doesnt have much to do with your conditioning...Look at Holyfield.

Rephrase...he may be somewhat in shape but he is too heavy for what needs to happen tomorrow. Like i said before he's not in Kirk Johnson shape, but he needed to be light and fast for this fight.

jesus christ man Holyfield is almost 10 years older than Vitali. Ali used thyroid drugs to lose weight for the Holmes fight. Vitali was already in shape when he started camp.

Come on are you SERIOUSLY comparing Ali and Holyfield to Vitali???? What the hell man?

Ali was already WAY DONE when he fought Holmes and Holyfield is over 45!!!

Please don't say things like this that make no sense.

ALSO ALI WAS NOT IN SHAPE WHEN HE FOUGHT HOLMES, even though your post has nothing to do with this topic. Ali was skinny, NOT in shape. He was old, slow, and done.

That's how he's built and always was, I do agree that he looked better against Toney in the rematch and he was like 4 pounds less in that fight, nothing major here in my opinion. If he came in at 257 as he did for Toney the first time then sure because he was REALLY fat there.

This fight he looks good actually, notice the six pack, he doesn't really need to suck his gut in. He's just a short wide heavyweight.

If you watch the weigh in video, there is no six pack...he's sucking it in.

I noticed he sucked it in but in that picture he's not really sucking anything in and the six packs are visible.

Sam looks decent in the pictures. In the video though, it's pretty obvious he is sucking in that gut...is he self conscious about this?...why would he suck in his gut if he weren't self conscious? This isn't a good sign for Peter fans...I think Sam might be somewhat intimidated by Vitali.

I know that but wouldn't compare him to Ali's situation nor Holyfield's.

How do you lose the ability to handle shots in 4 years, that doesn't make sense. He will be able to take as many punches as he could before.

Yes he does know he lost the Wladimir fight and has been looking to get a rematch, the best way to secure a rematch is to win this fight, if he doesn't then a rematch is out of the question.

Also regarding his interviews, I've seen many of his interviews where he made a lot of sense and spoke properly, like after both Toney fights, after the Wladimir fight..etc, he just picked up that attitude now, even after the McCline fight he was respectful. His inability to speak english properly makes him sound arrogant but he's not even close to it.

Exactly. Madness. Ali and Holyfield have been through WARS.

Vitali had one tough six rounder against Lewis.
