Here's the only good I see coming from this weight for Rahman: He's going to gun for the early KO. Should be fun to watch for the first three rounds. Whoever connects first is going down.
That's too bad. Rahman might make it out of the first round. Any round he makes it out of after that would be a huge surprise.
It matters. Take a look at Rahman's weight when he almost lost a decision to Al 'Ice' Cole. He fights like **** when he's heavier because he trains like ****.
Rahman is too heavy in my opinion and looks bored out of his skull. I'm gutted. I hope he's not just taking this for just the pay, but weighing in fully clothed and looking as if he is half asleep is NOT a good sign. Boo hiss boo.
To go along with 'bored', there's an interview with him on ESPN.com from after he arrived in Germany and its pointed out that he doesn't mention winning once - just putting on a good performance. No fighting spirit.
That's poor from someone who has already upset the odds once. Let's not mention the fighters who would have given anything to be fighting Klitschko tomorrow. May I reiterate my earlier point of boo hiss boo.
No surprise. There is no heat behind this bout AT ALL. Actually, Rahman might have had a chance to catch WK slipping if he'd bothered to train. Wladimir realizes this is a non-fight.
Didn't Thompson weigh in with his shirt vs. Wlad in Wlad's last fight? Who wants the media comparing their body to Wlad's at the weigh in....that being said, i don't care how jet lagged Rahman is, he should still be ****ing jacked up for a chance at the title not to mention the bank roll he gets for a brief spell of unconsciousness
What a shame for Rahman to come in like this... shirt on and at 254lbs... He mind as well just puts his knee down in the 1st Rd so he can cash the check and retire.
Rahman could weigh 235 and his GLASS JAW would still get shattered all over the place. Just like it did here: [yt]tQeqquW1ugo[/yt]
