The only time I believe somebody when they pick the underdog is when I actually see them put their own money on it. Otherwise it's just some Teddy Atlas bull**** of always picking the longshot just so that every once in a while you can look smart when a wild ass prediction happens.
Upset? No. Solis will be dangerous in first rounds, but later he will be too tired to do something. Also Solis is too fat to be a rabbit and he doesn't have good punch to K.O Vitaly (IMO He has the same punch as Adamek...). Vitaly will KO Solis in 9-12 round...
Hell no I saw Solis moving around in the open workout video he's definitely not in the 240's, probably 257 or so he'll get KO/TKO'd in round 10 or 11 or lose a wide UD.
Nah, I can't. Solis has the amateur credentials, but he's not the same guy (or shape!) as he was as an amateur. I think his past laziness with his conditioning will be an issue as well as sheer physical dimensions. It would shock me a lot if Solis pulled off the upset. Vitali has been slowing down, but he'd need to fall a firm couple steps more yet.
If Solis can land anything substantial, he can definitely dispatch Vitali. The big height and reach differentials will be a problem for Solis. He will likely lunge in, exposing his own chin and weakening his punch. Its too bad he's out of shape and thus not giving himself the best chance possible to win. We will find out about Solis' chin here, that's for sure.
at 6 - 1 he a worth a small bet to keep it interesting. But in reality wearing the coat makes me nervous. I think he will be mid 40,s and think he did well. Its like arreola wearing the weight belt and removing and still being heavy. They think its hilarious but fooling knowone.
Solis will steal the first few rounds but from the 4th-5th round onwards it will go down like the Johnson affair. Although Solis will have stamina problems in the 12 too, Vitaly is not what he used to be, he will not stop him I think. Vitaly ud 117-111
The only thing I'm not sure of is the way how Vitali's going to win. I expect him to get the KO, but I've no idea how good Solis' punch resistance is and if he has the heart to continue if he get pummeled for 9 straight rounds. Upset? Don't think so.
Can't see it happening. Solis is Vitali's most dangerous opponent since his comeback and he might be competitive for a few rounds but I can't see Solis being able to sustain his attack against Vitali and I don't think he'll be able to cope with the workrate of Vitali.
The big Klit looks way more intense and geared to kill than the over-padded Solis does in training. Solis is cashing in on that generous 3 million dollar check he'll receive. Klit by TKO 11 Solis...bbb MR.BILL:hat
