klitschko - the best jab? no more

    for years we have heard that Wlad jab was the best since...

    it was NOT! his height advantage was big enough to make his good jab look devastating

    there were dozens of boxers with better jab in history also in hw

    That's because in the past few years he hasn't been using his jab as much.

    Lol you make it sound like he's fought Tyson sized heavyweight midgets all his career.

    Wlad has one of the greatest jabs in heavyweight history, but age, decline in speed etc has reduced his jab.

    Tyson fought well last night.

    that's almost exactly how it looked. >20 title fights for Klitschko and less then 5 was 6'4"

    and 6'4" is 2" less then Wlad

    he is NOT one of the greatest jabs in heavyweigh history. his jab is decent. his physice was one of the greatest in history and one of the tallest

    thats all. the rest is weak like chin or desent like the rest

    Plus he doesn't throw combinations anymore he's basically relying on one punch to do the damage.

    Wlad's jab is stiffer and harder than Fury. You would think that if both threw jabs, Wlad's would get the better of Fury's which really is a slap jab.
    Since Wlad didn't have the reach he's accustomed to, he was to timid to get close enough to throw and land hard jabs.

    Once fear enters into the equation, Wlad becomes a limited fighter.

    Size is the biggest part of the jab. And Fury is bigger than Klitschko.

    Put Wladimir in with his typical shorter opponent, with inferior reach, and Wlads jab will look great again. Wlads whole career is based on having a height and reach advantage. Without these he's average at best. He's got no inside game, doesn't throw bodyshots, and has very little headmovement.
