Except in the past he's beaten tall big men who are better than Fury, his jab has clearly declined over the years, due to poor training and father time.

Average fighters don't achieve the accolades that Wlads has try again.

Try reading next time. I said without tge height and reach advantages he's average.

Actually, he's below average without them. No inside game, no head movement, no body punching, and questionable heart.

You don't do what Wlad did being average...... He's great. Last night doesn't change that.

How many fighters has he beaten who had more height and reach than he had?

You are right. With the height and reach advantage he's very good. His PlanA works and his holes font get exposed. What I'm saying is that he's not very good when he doesn't have an advantage in height and reach

Yeah fine. He's a great fighter but very flawed. He has little to no inside game, and caves in under pressure.... That still doesn't erase what he's done of the years. That's what defines greatness. I don't think Fury exposed any of his holes, he pretty much just did nothing and Fury took advantage.

He's beaten plenty of good heavyweights his size and bigger who are moderately skilled. The reason he lost last night was well..... He did **** all and fought WAY too cautiously. Historically speaking he struggles with smaller pressure fighters....

Reach, reflexes, and speed advantages are a big part of jab...

At 39 Wlad held none of these over Fury.

The Wlad of a decade ago could probably out jab Fury or anybody.

His jab honestly has been weak for past two years. He couldn't even get it going against Leapai.

But would his jab look better against an orthodox smaller fighter...uh yeah. Reach is a big part of effective jabbing for all fighters.

I want to see Wlad take a tuneup fight before Fury beats him again. Put him in with a smaller man, he'll look good, and that will build more confidence for a fury rematch

Mongoose, why didn't Wlad use a plan b against Fury?

Wlad is great. So why didn't he try getting inside of Tysons reach and using an inside attack? Better yet, why didn't he try attacking Furys body? Has Wlad ever shown any ability to take such an approach?.....no. as I said, he's average at best without height and reach advantages

Most of the tall men like Wach and Thompson are static targets though with slow, plodding feet.

Fury can actually move so he negated Wlad's jab.
