I just saw this recently, one of the best boxing documentaries i have ever seen. It also made me like both of the brothers even more, they come across as genuinely good human beings, some of the footage from their kickboxing days was pretty cool also
There have been some very good docos made so if you say this is one of the best you've seen that's good enough for me. Im gonna watch asap
It is a great doco i agree. Watched it the day after it was aired on HBO in the US. Worth checking out for all boxing fans.
I've walked past this DVD so many times because it's near enough to $30, might have to grab it next time.
Very good doc. The story Vitali tells about Don King's attempts to woo the brothers using his piano skills is priceless! The Klits cop plenty of **** around here but they are great ambassadors for the sport. I only wish they had real competition.
haha that had me laughing, that guy is a worm pure and simple, but as lamon brewster was saying in the doco, when he puts that much cash in front of a guy who has never seen it before, all they see is the money and they sign their life away, luckily the klits are pretty shrewd.
The Lamon Brewster stuff on the Klitschko doco was very good. Brewster is back training youngsters out in LA which is great to see & has some great knowledge to pass on.
yeah i watched a vid recently of him showing how to throw a power hook it helped me a lot with my own technique :good. I also gained a lot of respect for chris byrd after watching it, he seems like a really class act and extremely humble, especially with his son there.
True that...class acts.:good Never was a big fan of Byrd's style...unlike Brewster who was 1 of my favourite heavy's over the last couple decades. I remember most Brewster's epic win of Krasniqi in Germany when the ref tried his best to keep Krasniqi in it. Watched it from Austria at the time on holiday.
Heard he'd had a successful operation on the eye and it would pass a medical. But it is only rumormill stuff.
