Tass agency reported that Wladimir Klitschko applied for president of the International Boxing Association - AIBA. What do you think about this? Does he deserves to be a president of the organisation? He was supposed to be involved at some kind of position in AIBA, but instead of that , he wants to become the main face of it.
I think he is a great person that can affect the sport in a good way.

He has strong connections, tremendous amount of experience and the right mindset.
    Could work well.

If you can handle yourself as mayor of the Ukranian capital Kiev, I'm pretty sure you can handle yourself as AIBA president.

Never mind, if your big bro can handle yourself as mayor of the Ukranian capital Kiev, I'm pretty sure you can handle yourself as AIBA president.

It would be a good appointment. In sports, these roles are often filled by career lawyers and people in that field when they should be filled with ex sportsman who competed in that sport.

Can Wladimir play the game behind closed doors? I doubt it. He will be taken advantage of .... But, I agree: He would be a great representative as a former Olympic Gold Medalist.

This. Wld's been around the sport for a long time and is more than qualified for the position.

I'm all for it, just as long as K2 promotions vanishes completely, I don't want to see any conflict of interest going on.

Wlad should try Hollywood with those matinee looks. His Mrs can fix him up.
