All it takes is some pictures of Vitali sparring and there are absolutely no doubts left in the minds of some morons that he's gonna win spectacularly. Stupidity knows no limits.
So about Vitali vs. Lewis.... just kiddin Vit looks great. Peter is going to get another ass whoppin at the hands of a Klitschko.
I havn't had a Vitali Avatar in a while....It's time to put it back up....it looks like he's going to make the fight.:happy
Not so fast AJAX, most of Vitali's postponements come with in a few days before the fight itself, I hope this isnt the case this time around, but history does repeat itself.
Dan Rafael: "With his mandatory defense against unretiring Vitali Klitschko on the immediate horizon, it's time to start praying that Vitali doesn't stub his toe, rip a cuticle or suffer a dislocated nose hair, any of which could force him to pull out with yet another injury. " is this guy a boxing analyst or a fat ****-eating journo
Some New-B with 4 posts questioning Dan Rafael...??? Do you want to be a decent poster, or only insult those whose views are more highly regarded than your own...??? In answer to your question, I would consider him more journalist than analyst.
...and while we are at it, more recently Rafael said this... There are only 16 days left until Vitali Klitschko challenges heavyweight titleholder Samuel Peter and Klitschko is still injury-free. It's almost time to break out the plastic bubble for Klitschko as we head down the stretch. ....thanks Boxfarmer, and the alias you are using tonight.
Suge, i just started posting but i been reading boxing for a bit, regardless yea new-b is justified, what i'm questioning is dan's bull**** attempt at a laugh. Shouldn't an ESPN boxing journo show at least a hint of respect for any man or woman for that matter who gets in the ring? Maybe Rafael has never had a real injury and doesn't know how debilitating they can be. oh, and i'm no farmer, just new, nice to meet you
Nice to meet you as well...and I understand your sentiments and would share them, however my being familiar with the situation prevents me from doing so. VITKLIT has cancelled and unprecedented FIVE bouts in a row...4 with Rahman and 1 with McCline, since winning a vacant title and defending it one time. All criticism with regards to his repeated cancellations is justified...moreso than they have ever been, about any fighter in this particular area.
Viatli fans a dreaming.... V. Klit has never got a Win over a top 5 fighter.. ( Well Sanders, but we know what he was worth ) V. Klit has been inactive for 4 years !! Maybe this is going to be a bit harder than "fans" here on ESB are dreaming about..... Anything is posssible, but to get your best win "EVER" just after 4 years retirement. That Is a VERY VERY big task... Full credit if he does it,.... but pretty sure he will cancel. By the end of this week, just like last time with the Rahman fight....
I expect to see a great fight but I can tell you I will have such a laugh to watch Vitali quit on his stool AGAIN... And people may think that I think that Vitali is his worst enemy - nothing more wrong! Peter's punching power is Vitali's worst enemy - no matter where he hits Vitali, it's going to make him jump up, back and possibly bend over. Actually, it's funny that people rely on height and reach advantages and in Vitali's punching finesse when the main thing in HWT boxing has been always punching impact. Remember Purity and Wladimir?
