WALDO seems to have learnt to get his retaliation in first in his old age....a few years ago he'd have got KO'd by Haye and then sent in the failed mayor to do his dirty work. Now he's on a massive winning streak he's sending VITLAY before the inevitable happens.
It must get old bashing the best HW in the world doesn't it? Amazing how you're always drawn to these Klitschko threads................
Wlad has not fought well since his shutout against one eyed Brewster in July of 07, and seems to be losing speed on his punches, which doesnt matter much at all when your fighting a guy in Rahman, who has an even worse chin than Wlad, and looks very washed up, the guy was on his way to being knocked out by James Toney if the fight would of went any longer. Zuri ****ing Lawrence had him rocked for christ sakes, I cant imagine what right hand from Wlad would do to him, probably put him in a coma given his history. I still cant believe this fight is actually happening, I could think of at least 20 fighters more deserving and better than Rahman at this point in his career. If Rahman lasts more than 3 rounds I would be shocked.
Me neither. Only way Rahman goes past 3, is if Waldo starts out slow as usual. As soon as Waldo thinks it's OK to throw the right hand, we're going to hear "it's ovahhhhh" again. Rahman has about as much chance of winning this as Ray Austin did. If not less.
I tend to agree, Rhaman's last couple matches are almost painful to watch, against Toney he looked decent until Toney started countering him with the hook and looked to be a few rounds away from getting the knockout, but Rahman decided to quit, knowing it wasnt his night, and that Toney was alot better than he thought coming into the ring that night. As far as Wlad/Rahman, given Rahman's terrible chin and declining skill level, it's only a matter of time before Wlad lands with a big right hand that sends Rahman face first into the canvas, I see it being Lewis/Rahman 2 all over again. This fight is a joke, and really shows the lack of depth in the extremely weak Heavyweight division, another example of this is Valuev/Holyfield, it just keeps getting worse.:-(
Rahman is one of the few orthodox stance fighters Klitschko has fought recently. He's been fighting awkward southpaws lately. I have a feeling Klitschko will appear to have a spectacular performance, albeit overrated performance vs Rahman.
Yeah I enjoy bashing the best heavy in the world that got owned by Sanders and Brewster, it's good sport. Always gets the required reaction from the sack-swingers too (this means you) :good
Yep this is an awful, awful fight. No doubt WALDO will stop Rahman inside of 3 rounds and we'll get the usual idiots spouting that WALDO is better than Lewis because he stopped Rahman quicker. Can't wait for that argument, personally
I love watching Wlad do the mitts with Manny. Steward just holds his hands straight up over his head is knocked back a foot or two with every punch.
I think it might be more interesting hearing Lewis comment while Rahman is getting battered. He really seems to enjoy such moments.
