Fury was acting like this before Ustinov weigh in, the same way and we know what happened there, I feel like fury is feeling the reality of the situation that he is fighting the best man on the planet

I expected fury to look bigger, I think the 6 ft 9 was a promotional gimmick when fury was coming up in the ranks

 

Yeah, height difference doesn't look bigger than 1-1,5 inches.

I'd say Fury is actually about 6'7 1/2....not that it's going to matter, he could be 7'5, the result is going to be the same. Wlad by KO. :bbb

 

For those questioning Furys height have you not considered that Wlad is wearing lifts?

I'd say Fury is about 6'7 3/4" tall, Wlad about 6'6" tall. Less than 2" between them.

Wlad knows he has an English turkey waiting to be carved up just past Thanksgiving!

 

Fury was nervous AS ****. Especially after the end of the stare down. I tell you guys, wlad vs Briggs on saturday, fury will bottle it

You can see Fury is trying to overplay his uneasiness with the big task. For Wlad this is biz as usual, for Fury it's the fight of his life. He's not used to the big pre-fight ballyhoo and the pressure. So he makes funny comments and smiles a lot instead.

I've often wondered this and I seem to remember David Haye mentioning it and that he wears shoulder pads too ...

Wlad always seems MUCH bigger on the press conferences than in the ring.

The most noticeable was Pulev. Wlad looked a comical 4 inches taller at the weigh in and then barely 1 inch bigger fight night. Which would make sense given Pulev being 6'4 1/2 and Wlad 6'6.

I wonder?? The man is permanently tanned and has clearly had botox. So anything he feels gives him a psychological edge I guess?
