I'm not sure why Klitschko consider this an advantage. He's the older guy, and Fury is barely a pound heavier so it's not like he would sink into the canvas anyway. In fact seeing as Tyson has the bigger feet and they weigh the same, Wlad would sink more deeply into the canvas.

If they think Wlad will be chasing fury cutting off the ring, then it would probably make some sense.

Fair play to Mick Hennessy, he seems a good man to have on your team

I don't either. Wlad clearly has the better footwork of the too...seems to me that a softer ring would take away a bit of that advantage, no??

Yeah, he made some good points there. Asking Vitali if a soft surface is why Solis ****ed up his knee while fighting him. Talking about them trying to control everything, which they do. Good example of all the behind the scenes bull**** fighters have to deal with in another fighters back yard.

Maybe they expect a lot of Floyd Mayweather esque running and that Wlad will be the agressor. With a very spongy ring it'll be easier to cut off the ring and more tiring to constantly trying to get away from harms way. Also Wlad has been sparring in this type of ring, so he's more adjusted to it.

I still don't see this as a major advantage unless Fury was a lot bigger and heavier, which he isn't. He had the same spongy ring against pulev, but I haven't seen in any of his other fights.

Lewis tripped on the cloth, not because of the ring.

Lets be honest here, this is a big issue, it looks way too bouncy as it is probably perfect for Wlad and awkward for Fury. Just another reason to root for the underdog - go Fury!

Reagan was borked. Or was it Bork who was borked? Either way, someone was borked.
