How exactly does that invalidate my hypothesis that spectators don't want to see two good guys in the ring? Thompson has a boring personality as does Wlad. Haye, Chisora and Briggs got the Germans riled up and therefore made sure the TV ratings are right.

Wladimir Klitschko used to be an exciting fighter when he was trained by Sdunek but he now has Lennox Lewis' old trainer and has Lennox Lewis' boring style. If WK was still trained by Sdunek I don't think he would have lost to Sanders. Klitschko was too focused on jab and distance instead of over-arm, collar tie and uppercut-hook. IMO with a different trainer he would have KOed Thompson faster too. Sure that jab-right hand works but it is very repetitive and time consuming compared to hook, crush ribs, hook bruise liver, right hand KO. As it stands we're stuck with Lennox Lewis Jr. stinking up the ring for six+ rounds.

Those who didn't wan't to see the first fight didn't watch the second either and those did saw the rematch. What's your hypothesis anyway?:lol:

7,35 mil. One of the highest TV ratings in Germany for boxing ever with no German boxers (and the Klits) involved. :hi: The fight was not even on RTL.

Valuev vs. Holyfield had 7.25 mil. :hi:

    It's not about Haye.

Nikolay Valuev is the cash cow of german boxing besides the Klits.

Holyfield is a legend, Haye managed to attract 7mil spectators by having an engaging personality.

    Klittards horribly upset :-(
