Looks like I will be able to watch the fight after all. Damn, getting nervous now, the clock is counting down to fight time.

We all need to say some Hail Mary's for Adamek. The power of prayer just may help him to pull this one off.

    ;)

I'm so pumped for this. But the thing is that I can't show hate for the other fighter, I always want Adamek to win all his fights. But everyone here knows who I must cheer for.

You know.... When you think about it... everyone is against Adamek and nobody really thinks he can pull it off.

And when you really , and I mean , REALLY think about it... it may be because Vitali is getting WAY over hyped... he isn't the monster people make him out to be. Years of weak opposition, opposition without a will to fight, and opposition who already lost before getting into the ring, along with Vitalis bad ass attitude, are things that may be making people think he is invincible... that along with the name Klitschko.. 2 guys who have been dominating for decades. This fight may not be as one sided as people think.... Although the Solis fight is nothing to go off of.. as it almost didn't happen... it did show that Solis had some luck with Vitali early.

Not saying Adamek will win, I hope he does, but honestly think the size difference will be too much, but I think he has better chances then what most give him.

I guess I just don't think Vitali is the invincible monster people make him out to be. He is very beatable. His opposition has been weak, and just stood in front of him letting him use them as a punching bag. Not very smart tactics against a guy who can hit.

Funny...I actually feel pretty calm right now. We'll see if that chages in a few hours.

i agree with everything you said.....ive said that for a while...its not because he is some kind of iron jaw monster that could never be laid out for the count... its becasue sin 44 or so fights he has had as a pro...there may have been 2 or 3 guys that had a legit shot to beat him....aint vitalis vaults everyone else has been so below the mendoza line in talent...
if vitali and wlad were 6 years older than they are now...tomaz would have heavyweight titles with them out of the picture...but he with his size, lack of power, he doesnt float like a butter fly.... its just a very bad match up of a huge , skilled big man...against a smaller , skilled little man.

did you see my other post about this being the first time ive actually been concerned for a fighters well being since 1987? Certainly i dont want anyone to ever get hurt...but when you genuinely respect and admire a guy for what hes attempting...and the odds are stacked against him...its natural to think the worst... but last time i had this feeling that sugar ray leonard was gonna get HURT and HURT bad vs Hagler..... one of the few that didnt share that feeling was sugar ray...he ended up doing pretty well that night :good

I'm ready for this fight, and very confident Vitali will take care of business as usual. I'm very anxious to see how Adamek does in the early rounds and if his speed will be a factor or not (because this is the lightest Vitali has been in YEARS so maybe he'll have much more speed in this fight). Either way, in two hours we're all gonna be able to watch a great fight. May the best man win. :good
