Having a puncher´s chance creates hype and almost invariably disappoints. Just look at Arreola versus Vitali and Haye versus Wlad (not to mention the countless powerful but crude and mentally fragile punchers both bros have faced) to see how far a puncher´s chance got them. The interesting thing about Adamek is he doesn´t rely on a hail mary to win fights. He is a solid, busy fighter, with good fundamentals, good technique, solid chin and above all great ring IQ and a good fighting spirit. I will take the latter qualities (behaving like a fighter, as Atlas likes to say) over a puncher´s chance, any day of the week. Puncher´s chance is what the weekend warriors of boxing prize over boxing fundamentals, skill and ring experience.

LOL just reading through some of his articles Ambrose sounds like a typical ESB poster.Such venom when it comes to talking about Adamek as if Dan has something riding on this fight.

 

I got Vitali UD with Adamek's face looking like a car run over it. Adamek's chin is sturdy and Vitali doesn't pack real knockout power these days. He just relentlessly bashes at your face.

Vitali is too rangey and elusive for a guy of Adamek's size to hit frequently, and he doesn't have the power to give Vitali anything to think about.

Hope to be proven wrong though, as I love seeing drug cheats get their comeuppence.
