Good point. I wouldn't call it good, but it's not glass either. A true glass jawed fighter is a guy like Rahman, who takes one shot and is out cold or close to it, several times. Wlad's issues have more to do with poor balance early in his career and stamina as well. His chin is not rock solid, to be sure, but whenever he's gone down, he's gotten up. Can't say that about somebody like Rahman.
I wouldn't say he was cautious-he threw a ton of jabs and was even throwing abunch of right hand leads. I don't know the compubox stats but Wlad threw a lot. (Not a lot of hooks though. To be fair, Lamon was holding his hand pretty hight to keep that from being effective.) As for a knockdown stoppage-I think it was on its way, and apparently so did McGirt, which is why he stopped the fight. The analogy isn't perfect, but this was the heavyweight version of PBF-Gatti.
That's what I've always said. It's not great, but it's not glass like somebody like Rahman who gets knocked cold or right the **** out of the ring!!
Inderdaad bij somige gemeentes is rtl germany alleen optioneel te verkrijgen ...uit welke provincie kom je ? er zijn namelijk niet veel nederlandse boks fans ....:good
