Vitali is great guy , because he;s got bery impressive tactics in all his fights. I think that becaouse of it , he would be able to dominate evan after 40. he is still quite fast, and agile, look for ex. at his dodges. Vitali doesnt punch as hard as he used to, Wlad now is more powerful puncher. But Vit isd still great tough and very demolishing mofo

LOL at the way the Klitchko bros. continue to thorougly dominate this heavyweight division and have posters come in here after Vitali did'nt even lose an exchange sequence much less a round......posters come in here talking how Vitali was'nt impressive.:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:nut
It was a close fight. I had it as a draw. ****ing clinic. Briggs big respect your roids cheeeeeeen is epic!
Vitali looked at bit slower, but he beat the hell out of Briggs. Round 10 especially was brutal, and Shannon's corner maybe should have pulled him out to stop the beat down continuing.
Vitali has never been a huge puncher because he does'nt use leverage to get his punches off. He's an arm puncher for the most part and he gets fighters out of there on accumulation. Surly the uneducated would point to Lennox Lewis getting a better version of Briggs out of there, Lewis however used leverage and put full force when he unleached his right hand. Lewis packs more power with a single shot, but Vitali uses more volume, which for Briggs was harder to deal with. Lewis and Briggs have compeletely difference styles, getting early knockouts does'nt necessarily equate to being the better fighter. Tyson vs Holyfield taught us that. ......and hey, how about Briggs in the post fight saying Vitali is the best fighter he ever fought?:yep
Briggs was very good at anticipating and softening impact of the punches. It and huge heart are the reason he made it to the final bell. His stamina might be bad but his fundamentals are really good.
He really wasn't that impressive. He's wide open and he's not as fast as he used to be (and he wasn't SRL to begin with). Don't let the fact he was dominant against a slow-as-tar, ancient, unfit fighter with a great chin (albeit one Lewis would have smashed inside 6 rounds) fool you. The only good thing about this is that it might tempt Haye out of his foxhole.
Vitali was impressive took a few shots and didn't flinch....beat the **** out of briggs and didn't look back looked like a 33 year old vitali...no haters...credit to briggs for a good effort but again it doesnt matter who fights the k bros they get taken to school...k bros should be in their own division...."too good for you" lame name i know but truth all the way!!!!!!!!!!!
Lewis KOed Briggs 12 years ago. Lewis always beat Vitali. Hows that work for one guy being clearly better than the other.
Lets be real about this. Both Klitchko bros are skill fighters and they're too damn big for the rest of the Heavyweights. A fighter that size of Briggs could have given Vitali a good fight if he let his hands go, but Briggs even coming into this fight is'nt a volume type of guy. In fact, Briggs is a lazy fighter who loses rounds and relies on turning a fight with a single shot. The sanctioning body of this matchup should be ashamed of themselves. Briggs is'nt a worthy challenger to any Heavyweight champion, much less a Klitchko.
well....Briggs was much more in the fight with lewis..he hurt lewis bad in the first round..and was mixing it up well right until the end. having said that...one can clearly argue that a 27 year old 230 pound briggs was better then a 38 year old 260 pound briggs...
