It states in the ring magazine rankings that the #1 fighter can fight the #3 for the championship and since it appears that Vitali and Wlad will never fight why not make a possible fight between Klitschko and Chagaev for the HW title?

I read that Klitschko is in talks with team Chagaev for a possible showdown on the 20th ...

Thoughts on the possiblity of this fight and the chances that this be for the ring magazine belt?

I hope this fight goes down ... Haye wanted the fight so bad ... Klitschko told him to get in line ... now that Haye unfortunately got injured - he really has to go to the back of the line.

I just put a similar post in one of the longer threads. I think Ring would be making a big mistake to not sanction this for the 201+ title due to the extreme implausibility of the Klitschko brothers ever fighting each other. Wlad v. #3 is the best we're going to get, and I believe it would be enough to establish the winner as the man in the division.

Nope. The number one and number two refuse to fight one another. It may be for a very good reason (no one expects brothers to beat each other up for money), but it's still their choice. The number one may face the number 3 if the number two is somehow unavailable. Vitali is available, just unwilling.

See the article on the scene that talks boxing entitled, "Klitschko vs. Chagaev for 6/20, Or David Haye for 7/11."

There is a quote from Bernd Bonte: "Chagaev would be a big fight. It would be for The Ring belt. I have got confirmation from The Ring [magazine]."

Wlad / Chag is the best possible scenario, yes.

I only hope Chagaev and Kohl are not merely acting as fi they are interested, but will refuse to make a deal in order to avoid the fight.

I have my doubts about them accepting, but we'll see. (fingers crossed)

It does seem like they are at least in talks about the Wlad fight, so at least we've got that far.............Chagaev has not tucked his tail and ran, yet.

He is a more accomplished Heavyweight than David Haye by far.

A more accomplished fighter? A more exciting fighter? A more entertaining fighter?

    Hell no.

The only fight anybody wants to see is Haye v Klitschko. That ***** needs to wait a few weeks, step in the ring and take his ass-whooping like a man.

He beat Valuev & Ruiz which is much more than Haye has accomplished at Heavyweight.

It would be for the Ring title too, I guess that doesn't interest you since your boy is left out in the cold. :yep

Haye is the guy getting a beating but he'll have to wait for that privilege.

you need to learn to read little boy. I said he is a more accomplished HEAVYWEIGHT which he is and Haye is a Glass Jawed joke that had a free shot and blew it.

Chagaev is an UNDEFEATED Heavyweight that has a Chin unlike Haye and the fight is for The Ring Magazine Championship but Wlad should wait on Haye who brings NOTHING to the table but a big mouth?

Good lord are you a pathetic nuthugger.

    :lol::rofl:patsch:hi:
