I would always prefer to see unification rather than any other because I am a true fan of the sport. I have always said that a fight against Chagaev or Valuev was more important than a fight with Haye just because Haye talked the most ****. Haye would have to wait until the winner had a voluntary defense again or he could always EARN a shot the ol' fashioned way.

I think its good that the possible match would be for the ring magazine title. I doubt if Vitali really cares if his brother shines and with that unification bout being on the horizon it would be more clarity in the division.

and the Klitschkos will be the two headed champion of the division with Wlad being the recognized champion.

This will eliminate all the sanctioning bodies playing musical chairs with the world championship straps.

Chagaev was a world amateur champion and now is a world professional champion - on top of that he's undefeated and beat the giant Valuev for his first professional loss.

He's alright - can box - and is a true HW

and then again three more weeks, and a half a year more, and again...

plus - what is the point for a champ to fight an injured loudmouth? to hear from haters then that he fights only bums or injured?

It appears that things are leaning more towards Chagaev. At least that's what the media is starting to report.

How about unifaction against Chagaev, and then gets into the Haye fight right after that? Would that be reasonable? Do you see it as possible?

    **** no it doesn't.

Klitschko cautiously beats Chagaev in an unstimulating 12 rounder.

    Wow.

Klitschko then doesn't fight Vitali, (Haye would after he KOs Wlad), and then fights some other bum like Arreola or stand right in front of you, Povetkin.

I like Chagaev's skills and he has some ring intelligence as he showed against Valuev. He would bring a game plan against Wlad (unlike most recent Klitschko opponents) and would make Wlad work. Chagaev has been looking rusty in the ring lately though and I don't know if he would be at his best now.

Completely unreasonable because it's unnecessary. Haye will fight Vitali right after he knocks out Wlad.

All this means is that Wlad will beat Chagaev and then come up with excuses why not to fight Haye and continue to fight fighters not named Vitali.

But Haye-Klitschko probably isn't going to happen now. You do know that?

There is an easy solution to this. If Haye were to fight his way to a mandatory posistion Wlad could not avoid him. We all know Haye won't make it that far because he would get his Glass Jaw shattered if he had to fight an eliminator.

Haye had his free shot and he blew it.

Time for more unification in the Heavyweight Division Haye is out of luck.
