Yeah, it really sucks getting forced to fight for another world championship...I'd day this contract is pretty damn good for Chisora because it gives him an amazing oppurtunity should he somehow pull out a win. IMO, he's basically hitting the lottery here, going from nothing to the world stage.

I'm a big fan of Wlad. I understand the motive of what he's going for...but the only good things I can say about this fight is that it's better than nothing and at least Wlad's keeping active. From Chisora's perspective, I respect that he's got the guts to take it.

That's pretty much it. The matchup itself has slaughter written all over it and I just hope it's the last time we see Wlad defend against such a green fighter. Other champs may have done the same thing, but it still isn't good if they make a habit of it. Hopefully a couple fights with Adamek, Haye, Povetkin, Solis (if he grabs a good win or two in the meantime), or Boytsov in 2011 will happen.

While their aren't a lot of options for Wlad right now he could have faced someone better than Chisora. Not that I've seen much of him but him having only 14 fights and facing a dominant 60 fight veteran makes this a huge mismatch on paper. But, even though I'm not crazy about this fight at all and won't make much of an effort to watch it I don't have any problem with it. Wlad constantly faces the best out there or can't get the other ones in the ring with him. Wlad has absolutely earned the right to face anyone as good or bad as he wishes. I'm not interested in the fight but when you face top competition in most of your fights like Wlad has then you can face guys like Chisora every now and then if you want.

It's obviously not a great fight. But they contacted 4 fighters who were available and all of them turned it down. They called Tua, Jean Mac, and the big Russian kid, Dimentrenko. What do you expect the guy to do? He wanted to get three fights in this year and this was the only man to step up.

Also, out of ten title defenses, Wlad had fought 8 mandatories and 2 voluntary defenses. Vitali has taken on 2 voluntaries in his last 4 fights. Haye took a voluntary against Audley the first chance he got. Wlad against has a good record of taken on number one contenders, when they want to fight him.

Champions don't rearrange their schedules around challengers. Don't you get that?

Source on the contract. I've read the announcement from ESPN and I didn't read anything about him having to fight Vitali. Do you have a source, or what?

...............and anyone who has a problem with the contract stating "if you win you must fight Vitali" is also a punk ass *****.

Why wouldn't the winner want a shot at unification? Sounds like a bunch of ***** David Haye fans to me..................

**** off Jack, nobody is fooled Mr. Klitschko fan................:rofl

You're not even a boxing fan are you?

Why else would you complain about a Champion fighting too much or the winner being contractually obligated to unify? Oh the horror............

No, he should have to fight Wlad. Thanks to these contracts, if true, we might actually have unification.

I think the problem here is that would leave Haye out in the cold & irrelevant like he practically is anyway.
