Klitschko vs. Chisora is a disgraceful fight

I honestly think those contract stipulations are a product of how hard it was for Wladimir to get his second fight against Chris Byrd. If you remember, Byrd wanted no part of another Klitschko beating and he fought Touch of Sleep instead in the most boring fight ever.............

Yes because their crap RTL contracts kill off any fights being made, they offer their opponents **** money too but 100-200k to del boy is way too good to turn down.

 

Pad the resumé & the bank account at the same time! The only downside is he can't lose or he'll hurt his legacy.

 

I swear, some of these guys are acting like he's doing something wrong by trying to stay busy. atsch It would be entirely different if other more worthy challengers were available but they aren't.

 

What's wrong with it?

Chisora seems to be the only fighter that has a pair..... Wlad is fighting him.

Better than listening to frauds like Haye chatting **** all the time and not fighting anyone.

 

Generally Brits hate this idea. That goes back to the Haye contract.

But think about it like this: why doesn't Wlad have the WBC belt right now?

That's right. The only reason he doesn't have that belt is because he can't fight the guy who holds it.

Like it or not, we have a two-headed champ. It's a unique situation in history.
This works against them as well you know. So many people criticise them and put them down for not being the linear champs. Vitali never will have that chance. They are in each others way. But they make it work for them anyway and manage to be grown up about it.

If it wasn't for Wlad, Vitali would have all of Wlad's belts. By rights, either brother should be unified, and the only thing stopping that is their unique situation. So if someone takes a belt, then I don't have a problem with a rematch clause with the other brother.

Why not think of this as the most amazing opportunity that Chisora could ever get. How many fighters throughout history would dream of this? Of getting not only a shot at a title, but if they win - a guaranteed shot at unification? 99.9% of up an coming fighters would sell their souls for that.

My only concern would be that Chisora would have to get a fair financial deal out of it. If he takes Wlad's titles then he is immediately on even footing and should get paid appropriately.

It's true, it's pretty said contract obligations. And from an outside perspective makes Wlad look weak. Truth is, the whole contract "Rematch and or fight brother" stuff is just psychological warfare. Think about going up against Wlad in general, and then knowing you have Vitali down the line. It makes the idea overwhelming and a mountain of a task psychologically. Rather fight one brother, win, and then decide to fight the other. The implications are dramatically different and important to note.

 

Gimme a break. Wlad's just running out his contract with RTL to seal the deal with Haye.

 

Plus there's that. He won't get the deserving pay as champion.

 

and if wlad does not ask for the rematch clause against vitali? haye will start taking the ****.

fight is decent considering how active wlad has been this year. beat up del boy and remind everyone in britan that haye is not THE champ, just a champ.
maybe even wind haye up a bit. clever and i can stand it cause wlad has fought twice this year already and 3 fights in a year for a HW champ is good.
