So if haye and audley is the london championship what the hell is this? Whats your view's on this fight.
European? And it's a joke bout, but slightly better than the Mormeck v Wlad bout that could have happened.
If Chisora was a US fighter he would not be considered. Haye got a Valuev shot and questionable win. Was going to get Klitschko shots way too early before that but had multiple vag infections. Audley is getting a shot too early. Sosnowski got his shot too early. Audley vs Sosnowski was at the right level. Now Chisora??? Good win over Sexton but no experience going the full 12 rounds. It's gonna take a 36 minute fighter to wear down Wlad late...if it ever happens. To me, the UK has had enough gift shots. Briggs is not much better, nor was Johnson. These contenders need to fight eachother to get to Wlad. K2 should cancel Dec. 11th for Wladimir...have him put on a head set and sign up 3 or 4 good contender matches. Banks vs Thompson, Tua vs Welliver, Lepai vs Walker 2, Chisora vs Rogan....something along the lines of building future opponents who are more worthy.
Ha, thats a good idea. Create the challengers themselves. Make them fight each other. That is the job of the ABC orgs, but if they dont want to then tha champ has to fill that void
My view on this fight is very simple: I don't like it, but please don't compare it to Haye Harrison. For one thing, Wlad has earned a voluntary defense. Eight out of his nine defenses were mandatories against the 1 one ranked fighter. He had five successful title defenses before he took on an obviously unqualified voluntary opponent, Hasim Rachman. Haye had 1 defense before he went for the easy fight. In short, Wlad has earned it, Haye hasn't. Also, if Wlad is going to fight every three months, I don't find this so offensive. Now, if he were fighting every 7 or 8 months like Haye, that's a different story. :roll:
That's where I'm at also. I don't like it but it's his prerogative. It's not like he didn't try and get better names, almost bend over backward for them.
