Haye has nowhere else to go now. Especially with his post fight comments last week. On a side note Chef... what sort of mindset is Wlad in for this fight? is he going to be his usal calm self and pick Del Boy apart or is he looking to send Haye a message and do what every fight fan wishes Wlad would do more often and blow him out of the ring?
Yeah, i'm just saying it would be that have to be the circumstance, because i can't see Haye voluntary fighting them. Maybe Vitali Klitschko should do what Lewis, did and forfeit his wbc title to put himself into given contention with the wba. Looking how he got a title shot straight away at Peter from being years retired. I'm pretty sure if Vitali defeated Haye, he would be given another shot at the WBC because they seem to favour Vitali fairly highly...
What are you waiting for ? Haye has been doing this all year, since April at least. He's already ignored Wladimir when Wlad was available, then when Vitali beat Sosnowski, Haye went silenter still. Haye became invisble, waited for them both to sign fights again, then criticized their choice of opposition made up some lie about "they ducked Ruiz and Valuev, who I beat", then went and fought Audley ! Call him a **** already. :good
Ya, haha, if they forfeited their belt than Haye would have the greatest victory ever without throwing a punch. Maybe they should fight for the Euro title like Audley did, maybe they should drop down to cruiser, accommodating Haye will not make things better.
Their have been reasons given and obvious reasons as to why the fights haven't been made yet and whilst i don't like it, it's not me getting in the ring and risking the longevity of my future money earning in what is a short career anyway.... as far as i was concerned as long as a fight between Haye and the Klits does eventually happen i'm happy.... I'm not going to start hating just because it doesn't happen as soon as i want it to. Boxing is a business and it's their business not mine. But with Haye now guarenteeing he will fight a Klit next... If he doesn't then I call him a **** for getting everyones hopes up
Wlad does have a very good jab when he pumps it out and uses it as a punch but a lot of the time Wlad pushes it out and paws with it to keep his often overweight and static opponents off balance and out of range to let there punches go while teeing his own right hand up as a range finder. If Wlad uses that pawing jab against Haye he will get tagged with a big right hand. Haye has very good reflexes, upper body movement and is essentially a counter puncher, if Wlad sticks that jab out without any authority Haye will counter it and that is what makes this fight the best one available in the division right now. Wlad is a big favourite in my eyes but there are little habits like pawing with the jab that Wlad has that will be dangerous against a fighter like Haye which is what makes this fight interesting
Exaggeration there mate. How would it benefit Haye if Vitali were to win a eliminator for the WBA title, and put himself in for a mandatory shot against Haye. Vitali's already a former WBO and WBC champion. Lewis had no issues relinquishing his WBA title, to face the more dangerous Grant, rather than face the paper champion Ruiz. Legacy matters more i think, than the titles...
None of those reasons have changed. Haye is still in a slave contract with Sauerland. If Haye didn't like to fight a Klitschko in the Summer of 2010 why would he magically have interest in Spring 2011? What changed? Nothing. All the circumstances for all we know are still identical.
I am afraid I do not agree with your analogy, Lewis relinquished his title to avoid a paper champ, not to fight Grant. I am saying that getting a WBA ranking will not make Haye fight if he or the WBA does not want him to, why did he fight Harrison over Chugaev?
