Knocked the **** out by Puritty,eh! No,it wasnt that bad. He ran out of gas in the later rounds and wasnt able to continue fighting due to his appalling lack of stamina.Puritty was nothing more than a living punching bag, a teak tough one of course. Well,Wlad certainly disappointed his numerous Ukranian fans then.Thats for sure! Anyway! My point was that Wlad has fought in front of a lively fight crowd-not only in Germany or the USA but back home as well. British fight crowds are great, but I still prefer the Czech ones. Very fair people who fanatically support their own boy,but give honour where honour is due and applaud the foreign guest as well.
They must be very confident of selling the stadium out. Would not it not be a Euro record for attendance at a boxing card? Hatton got 50,000 against Lazcano, Calzaghe 35,000 or so against Kessler and Benn-Eubank II got 45,000 I think.
:good:good Wladimir Klitschko is: The Heavyweight Champion of the world and i will enjoy this on 20th June after the fight: This content is protected
Very good venue. 4,5 hours of drive on motorways from London according to ViaMichelin, Haye fans should be happy.
Euro record is 102,000 at Sandbahn Lokstedt (Motor and Horse race arena) in Hamburg, Germany. Schmeling vs. Neusel in 1934.
Good venue indeed. It's the stadium where England lost to Portugal in the quarter-final of the 2006 World Cup.
German TV channell RTL obviously thinks they have to do something special....I hate these rings as well....
