This fight is sold out according to the director of advertising. Check out this clip. [YT]5aCNEwuJKAA[/YT] Also does anyone know the PURSES for each fighter???? There hasn't been any talk about this..
according to one russian accented series of documentaries based on the upcoming fight, the journalist mentions "this 10 million dollar fight". assuming they are getting 50-50 since both are champs, then that means obviously 5 mill each. just a guess based on what i heard in the doco :thumbsup
are they fighting in the big building or in the theater? I find it hard to believe they were able to sell 18 000 + tickets for this fight.
There has been very little advertising. I heard about it on the radio once thats it. If you have HBO you know might about it but thats it. Boxing needs to learn from UFC how to advertise fights. Surprising its sold out, Brookly has a strong Russian community but still shows people still want to watch boxing
this fight isnt sold out plenty of seats still for sell. http://www.ticketliquidator.com/tix/Tickets.aspx?evtid=740678 and thats only one ticket agent.
There were a few very expensive seats left a few days ago. Vitali sold out at MSG vs. Kirk Johnson, even in a huge snow storm most managed to get there in spite of that storm, dangerous for them, but they came anyway. Vitali had great support there.
Duddy will be responsible for some of the tickets. He sold out the theatre a couple of times already against similar opponents
if a ticket agency buys the tickets to sell on at a profit, that means the tickets have sold. if the ticket agency then cannot sell the tickets, thats there hard luck, but the promoter and venue have the money in the bank.
But thats were your wrong, many of the agents work with the venue. IE they are like subcontractors. And the one that I posted the link for is just that.
